Why do this? $50K only gives $200 bonus. I get $500 with CPWM (and holding period is also 30 days)

I agree. Any 5% APY account will get you $200+ per month. Maybe there’s more to this than we’re aware of?

What is CPWM offer ?
Do you have a link?
Looking to open a zero brokerage investment platfprm that also reimburses Acat to be charged by Ally Invest. It’s urgent as I have to do this to comply with employers policy.

Language changed on New offer through 6/30. Time line now starts “date of initial funding” not “month of account opening”

Has anyone doubled up on both the CWPM and Citi Self Invest? Might not be worth the hassle, but an extra $100 for storing $10k for a few months isn’t nothing.

Nope.

Am I missing something? It seems like it’s actually just a 30 day holding period. If you open the account and fund the minimum, you have until the end of the next month to fund it, and then you have to hold the funds until the end of the month after that. 35 days to be on the safe side, but still not 60 days like I’ve seen other comments say.

That is what it looks like but I want someone who has done this to confirm.

Also want to know if it is easy to buy and sell no load money market mutual funds myself (via online interface) or do I have to call to place an order?

Does new funding include securities transferred via ACAT or is it just cash? Any data points on this?

Someone who opened an account with them, could you please check if they provide access to their Citi research reports for individual stocks? Thanks in advance!
