I had the version for “Online purchases” that expired 12/31/20.

I can confirm that the bonus posted and successfully stacked with the 5% off $500 on Black Friday week. I just had a statement cut with the $25 credit from that offer. The bonus points for this “Get More Joy” weren’t notated on the statement itself, but they showed up as “Bonus Points Earned +2,000” on my ThankYou account anyway.

Got a snail mail letter today about this offer in addition to the email from a couple days ago. My offer was for 5x back on “Online” purchases, up to 2500.

I just got an offer today for 5% cash back on up to $500 of online purchases on the same card that got the 5x points online purchases offer. The new offer is only valid from 11/24-30. I already used the 5x points, so I won’t be able to double-dip on the full $500 but should be able to do around $400 worth. Hopefully there isn’t an issue using both promotions at once. The fine print does say “This offer may overlap with other special offers in which you are currently enrolled. “.

I’m assuming Apple counts as a consumer electronics store?

I got the 5x up to 2500 points on my Rewards+ card. Remember that’s up to $625 in purchases since it’s the 4X bonus points up to 2500.

And more!

Sounds like it’s on all purchases except the exclusions. What type of card is it? I’m guessing that you get more than 1x point on the excluded categories?

It’s not just the TYP cards.

I got a 3X offer (Grocery, Drugstore, and mass transit) on a Citi AA card. 3X AA miles, capped at 2500. Meh.

Mine is the Rewards+ “eligible purchases online” too. Do you think Paypal purchases will qualify?

With Prestige’s 5x online promo, using PayPal Key has not changed whether a transaction is eligible or not. I wouldn’t be optimistic that PayPal would.

Can’t speak to PayPal with this offer, but in the past when I’ve had this offer, ALL online purchases qualified, even those that Bank of America does not honor the 3% back on like insurance and medical payments. I would expect that PayPal will work. Easy enough to try it out, make a small PP purchase on the card and see if the bonus points show up after it posts.

PayPal is weird when it comes to payment method coding. You’d assume it would be considered an “online” purchase but it doesn’t always code that way. It seems to highly depend on the merchant.
