[Expired] [Targeted] Discover: BPme, Spend $25/$30 & Get $10 Back

Deal has ended, view more Discover deals by clicking here.

The Offer

No direct link to offer. Sent out via e-mail with subject line ‘Want $10 back at bp and Amoco?’

  • Discover is offering some cardholders a $10 statement credit when you use the BPme app to spend $25 or more by October 31, 2020

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid 8/31/2020–10/31/2020. Earn a $10 statement credit when you activate this offer in this email and then make purchase(s) of $25 or more on the BPme app with your Discover card. Limited to one $10 statement credit on the Discover account listed above. The $10 statement credit will be applied within two statement periods. Offer is non-transferable.
  • 5¢ per gallon reward is sustained after spending $100 on fuel at participating bp and Amoco stations during the prior calendar month. This reward appears on the BPme app, not on your Discover card.

Our Verdict

Nice offer for those targeted. $10 off should more than make up for any price difference in gas in your local area, but always compare to make sure.

Confirmed BPme app stacks with GetUpside app with Check In feature, no receipt needed. All in all, paid around 50 cent per gal for premium. I like sniffing premium over regular.

Forgot to add, $10 statement credit came within 5 days after gas transaction. Quick cash back.

Discover is paying 5% on PayPal. Anybody set their designated
Discover card in PayPal as their preferred card / then set PayPal as their BP app form of payment?
The BP app accepts Paypal. I just tryiing to figure this bonus best way to go.

Not sure if PayPal will code properly with Discover for this promo. Probably have to pay for it directly with the card like the AMEX promo or the credit won’t post.

My understanding is that I could do multiple transactions as long as the total reaches the threshold, right?

I got this. No BP or Amoco stations anywhere near me, though, and I’m filling up like once a month, if even that often.

The AMEX offer for $10 off $25 expires 9/2, so make sure to use that first if you haven’t already.

Same here. Forgot all about this app after I used the Amex offers while back with it.
