Great deal if you can spend big on grocery stores. $1,250 limit is relatively generous as far as these offers go as well.

I received an email offer 5% up to $1000 spend for July and August 2022. I am still in my double cash back period so an easy $100.
Why don’t people provide you with the subject line?
Called, was offered an extra 3% on all purchases for the next 6 months up to $2,500. I will take it since January – March will be groceries anyway

I never get targeted for these offers. I reached out customer care few times. They said sorry we don’t want to give deals to you 🙂 . Only txns I do on discover in Q3 for paypal, and target/walmart in Q4. Does any one have any info on when they are gonna introduce “New” discover deals they promised few years back.
I have been a Discover customer for 15+ years and I’ve never gotten a target offer. I didn’t even know they exist until I started reading this blog.

I have no idea. I thought that changing my alerts months ago would help, but still no email offers. I give up.

I’m not targeted but I think if you have the Discover It CC and never use it, you may be targeted for these type of spending offers. Make sure you have opted in to marketing emails and mail too.
So the offers are for people who don’t use their cards 😮 😮 I guess they don’t need to give offers to people who already use other offers.
I scrounged around my Discover account looking for a marketing email opt-in. Couldn’t find one. Then again if I found it, I’d probably be deluged with a bunch of lame offers I didn’t want.
$75 cash back total over the next 2.5 months. In line with their typical $75 quarterly cash back limit.
