Hat tip to reader Jordan
$25 did not post. I contacted them via chat… said it was because I had already funded the account ($25) when I opened the account. Silly me for actually putting money into an account I opened.
However, said they will post it tomorrow as an exception. Yay. Very quick to respond via chat – only took a couple of minutes, assuming it gets taken care of as promised.
Received the email this morning.
Got the $25 bonus about two days after depositing the $500.
William Charles Thanks for the heads up on this.
I get to eat my words. I just got targeted, 11:22 PM tonight. So maybe they are rolling them out in batches?
A couch $25 is worth the effort, esp since I already linked a bank, no requirement to leave the funds for any length of time, and I don’t have to invest in this crazy market.
Yeah could also be targeted based on how long you’ve had the account open
For whatever reason, I couldn’t pull $500 from BBVA. I could submit it but said failed after a few seconds. Even tried deleting and relinking it, and had used BBVA to fund $25 previously.
Ended up linking Ally. Seems like it worked.
I opened my account July 14 and funded with $25. Got this $25 bonus offer on July 27. I’m going to fund more than the $500 in case they try to subtract the money I withdrew on Monday.
I got this offer. I had also linked a bank and transferred in $25. After getting my free shares I sold them last week. Perhaps the trading activity triggered the offer? Interestingly, I got the offer about an hour after I’d made a withdraw request to take the balance to 0.
I was doing my daily scrolling of DoC and this caught my eye because I thought it was an Amazon logo. I just spent an extra minute to click through and comment. In case anybody else is as clueless as me, Dough seems to do “commission-free stock trading”.
Negative DP. No e-mail here. I just opened my account a few weeks ago though. I funded it with $25 at opening, as I thought that would make me a good patron. No good deed goes unpunished.
