[Targeted] Drop: 50,000 Points ($50) For Free Dog Walk

The Offer

Targeted offer, check drop app to see if you are eligible

  • Some Drop app users are being offered 50,000 drop points (worth $50) for redeeming your first free dog walk from Wag!

The Fine Print

Our Verdict

You can get a free 20 or 30 minute walk. Wag! is basically uber for dog walks, daycare and boarding. I have no idea how competitively priced/safe it is. Drop has had plenty of issues in the past, but I personally haven’t had issues with offers like this. This seems like a fairly good way to get $50 in gift cards and a free dog walk, just make sure your getting it done by somebody with lots of positive reviews. (you can’t pick your walker, so goodluck!)

god damn I had this saved to my account was waiting to return to the U.S to use it this month.. just logged into Ibotta.. and saw that the offer expired on May 4.. there wasn’t any notice of any expiration date.. is that normal for Ibotta not to give any head’s up on an expiration? I’m kind of pissed that I missed $50.. I would have just requested someone walk a friend’s dog if I had known.

Anyone want a free dog walk? I got this offer. Only problem is I don’t have a dog. lol I’m also overseas for the next few months so I don’t want to ask random friends and have to explain this whole thing. I’d rather just send the free walk to someone who already knows how these deals work.

Does anyone with a dog want another free dog walk? I can send the dog walker to your house for the bonus.

Just send me a reply with your e-mail. Thanks!

Still Ono points from my walk. Got the following response from Drop support. Seems they are having issues with their vendor:

Hey there,

Thanks for dropping us a line again! Wag unfortunately did not verified your walk with us just yet ☹️

We really want to apply these points to your account, but we have found that Wag is experiencing some technical difficulties in their tracking systems. We have reached out numerous times and they’ve assured us that they are actively working to resolve this.

We really hope to hear from them soon, and as soon as we do, we will apply the points to your account! We’ve also included your email in a follow up request with Wag to process your points as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding – we’re super exciting for you to earn these points! Please hang tight with us! 💚

That’s what I got as well… we’ll see if they actually follow through but I kinda doubt it

No points for me either 🙁 Drop support leaves much to be desired.

I signed up and did the first free walk today. She did take a pic of the dog and posted it to the app. You can tip in app 10/20/30%. I just made sure the credit card i used for the tip was linked in my drop app.

Anyone get their drop points yet? I have an email to them, but it was a strange “signup”. THe drop app link simply takes you to the google play store and you install the app there. No code or anything, so I am not sure how they will track it. The dog walker I got was great through, and it does actually seem like a nice app, albeit kind of expensive for something I am more than capable of doing myself!

Are you expected to tip?

FYI, I use Wag. You can’t pick the walker. It’s like Uber, they route to nearby walkers and someone picks up the job. Just like Uber there have been horror stories but overall I’m pretty happy with the service. Also, I’m pretty sure walkers wouldnt walk around the block without a dog. Unless you offer them a massive tip.

Once you’ve booked a walk with a walker there’s an option to prioritize that walker again if you like them. If your favorites aren’t available they give you the option to cancel or book the first available.

I wonder if we even need a dog…

When the walker shows up, just tell them to walk around the block and pretend they have a dog with them? (Looks like it’s GPS tracked.)

Lol that’s what I thought as well for a Rover offer on SB. Any DPs on this?
