Our Verdict
This is a variation of the standard offer on new accounts to get $10-$15 Amazon credit when buying an Amazon gift card. This one is valid for Prime accounts which have not purchased an Amazon gift card in 3 years.
Hat tip to reader Rox
“The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.”
Had never purchased Amazon GCs through that account.
I think that people who haven’t shopped on Amazon for a while (or haven’t used a particular account) are more likely to be targeted.
Thanks
It seems to have worked for me.
Not targeted. i have purchased Amazon GC’s before
Tread carefully on this one, imo. The reviews I read for Amazon gc’s are downright scary.
Just don’t load several 100s and keep them sitting in the account. But yeah, Amazon gift cards are not as valuable as they used to be. I am thinking about canceling prime, gasp. Oh, and 0/2 on the promo. Managed to get the 20% promo a couple of weeks ago after trying a few times via loading and unloading my Bus Plat. Maybe it will work here too ?
Is this the only time this has been posted? I clicked on it for a new account and it said I had already enrolled in offer? BTW… 20% offer is dead for those who didn’t already know…John 3:16
Just taken to generic gift card page. Also, is the 20% off amazon using MR dead? I tried this morning on an item shipped and sold by Amazon but the discount wasn’t taken off.
Died on the 6th I believe.
FYI: Entry promo code: AMEXGIFT15 and see if it works.

I’ll add the promo code and the additional terms. Thanks
old account no dice
Is there something that’s supposed to happen when I click the link? I just get taken to the amazon gift card section of the amazon site.
+1. On 2 accounts I got a message saying not eligible for the promotion, and then I got the same as you.
Wondering same
+1
For me, it says at the top “Sorry, you are not eligible for this promotion.” If you don’t see that or a link to activate, then that is sort of weird.
I think it’s because it redirects me to the app. I’m using a mobile phone. The mobile site is the same tho. Will see when I get home.
Check if you have enrolled in Shop with Points. I had the same issue I was not enrolled
Yes I am.
Yep. Tried it on desktop instead of phone and now saying not eligible
