The Fine Print
- Registration must occur within three weeks of receiving this email. A ‘stay’ is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Remember to book direct to earn.
Our Verdict
Nice deal if you care about elite status and need some extra nights towards it.

Nothing for me
Got “You are not eligible for this promotion”. Oh well.
It’s Jan2023 and I am going to try it anyway. I am like 20 months away from lifetime Platinum status, but but short on elite nights by about 100.
I’m seeing two free nights (35k certs) after two paid stays. Seems like a decent deal.

My offer (double bonus points on stays of 2+ days) was set to expire 3/31, now I don’t see it anymore…hopefully just a technical glitch and they didn’t end mid-promotion which would be a Marriott thing to do.

With the upcoming massive devaluation next year, they are going to remove award charts and go by dynamic pricing I am going to pass on this one.
I don’t seem to be targeted. I’m likely to fall short of reaching platinum by 6 nights Any advice on getting elite nights before year end ??
Good old-fashioned mattress run might be worth it! Find a category 1 hotel in your area and book for 6 night stay. If using points you’ll pay pay for 5 nights. Platinum could very well be worth the cost. I’ll be doing the same thing but I’m only 2 nights shy so it’s really a no-brainer in my case.
If you have the business and personal cards, they each offer 15 nights separately. That’s 30 right there.
