Didn’t get this one either on P1 or P2 account and just about gave up hope after trying multiple times to setup even without the email as it has worked for some. And then today on P2 I see the email which must have come in late yesterday and the 1.5 applied. So looks like they are sending/enabling in batches and you just have to wait your turn if at all. f course me, P1 have never got anything for past several months other than the useless 1 ffd per 10 or something of the sort.

Cross-Border Fee Error?

While I was hoping for the 1% discounted fee, I was instead charged an EXTRA 1% for a “cross-border” fee, even though my entire transaction is based in the US (credit card, all addresses and entities). Anyone else experience a bug like that?

I got the email today for 1.5% fee but when I try any payment it still shows complete 2.5% fee, anyone else facing the same issue?

Anyone know if we can use Plastiq to pay mortgage anymore? I know Visa doesn’t work. What is about Mastercard?

Only way i can think about taking advantage of this is pre-paying taxes, but obviously unless i have a good 0% APR for 9-12 months card this isn’t a smart move for most people.

Any other ideas?

I didn’t get an email about this but tested and I have 1.5% rate right now. Does anybody know the expiration date on this?

Heads up, if Plastiq cancels your payment because they think the recipient might not be legit, you’ve then lost out on one of your 3 lower-fee payments, and they will absolutely not budge on giving it back.

If possible I recommend prioritizing recipients that you’ve successfully paid via plastiq in rhe past.

Very odd: No email, but when I entered my info the fee was 1.5% instead of 2.5%. P2 never gets these emails or promos.

Is Plastiq payment earns 3% with BoA rewards card for Online transaction category?

That’d be sweet. Any confirmation on this? Isn’t that category cap’d at $2500 spendy, though? I remember when Chase Freedom signup bonus was 3% up to $20K spend, which was basically a $600 SUB.

No, plastiq does not count as “online shopping”

ymmv. Initially it was not. But in recent times certain mortgage Payments have counted. I can confirm that one mortgage payment I made did count. I believe it depends on which specific entity you are paying not necessarily the type of entity.

That Freedom 3% offer was alright, but kind of lame compared to other SUBs. Can earn $600 many other ways playing this game than spending $20K.

Only if you get the 1% transaction fee with plastiq, othterwise it is not so useful

Yes, I just got the BOA cash rewards card (mastercard version), plastiq was counted as online shoping, so this is a good deal for the 0 apr card

Sounds… WORTHLESS.

So, Youngestofallthebuck, if you did the max on this offer: 3 x $20K, you’d earn $6000 FFD, which is a savings of $150; meanwhile, to spend 2.5% on $60K is $1500… I think Plastiq hates you.
