The Offer
Check your bank login to see if you were targeted:
- Get $100 or $75 or $50 back when making two separate transactions with AT&T on wireless products or services of at least $15 each by 9/25/2017
This offer comes around frequently. A number of banks use the same back end for these offers. This includes: Bank of America, Regions Bank, Suntrust Bank, BBVA, BB&T, PNC, Columbia Bank, Beneficial Bank, and Christian Community CU. You can read this post for more information.
The Fine Print
- Offer expires 8/11/17
- Offer must be used by 9/25/17 (Tthis means you have to save the offer on your account by 8/11/17 and use it by 9/25/17)
- Offer valid one time only (you can use it on any credit or debit card in your online account, but once you use it on one card it can’t be used on another card in the login)
- Valid in-store or online at at&t.com or over the phone
- Cash back is earned within 30 days after making the second transaction
Our Verdict
This deal is amazing and profitable even if you have no interest in anything at an AT&T store. Buy an accessory for $15, repeat and get the bonus. Net profit will be $70/$45/$20, plus some free accessories.
Tips:
- If you’re doing this in-store, make sure to make the purchases at a corporate store, not an Authorized Retailer.
- If you’re doing this online, try buying a single item that costs $15 or more since AT&T sometimes splits up smaller items into separate charges.
- It might be worth spacing out the two transactions on different days.
- Someone mentions the idea of buying a $25 refill card from an AT&T store which would work for prepaid plans.(Not sure if it’s possible to buy a gift card for a post-paid plan too.)
- Or buy an iTunes gift card.
- A reader confirms that making $15 payments to your AT&T cellular bill or Uverse internet bill counts to trigger the credit.
- Don’t forget to go through a portal if ordering online. Topcashback is currently the best at 10%.
If you have any questions it’s probably wise to read through our previous post on this as they are probably answered there.

Anyone know what to buy that costs about $37.50?
Ohhh! I’ve made this also several times! Bought accessories and received my cashback on the card almost instantly
boa page staes the offer expire 9-30-17 but
“”Must make two separate transactions with AT&T on wireless products or services of at least $15.00 on the card associated with this offer by 11/14/2017”
does anyone know from past real life experience…do I have til 11-14-17 to make the 2nd purchase or should I make the 2nd purcahse before 9-30-17 to qualify for the $75 bonus?
thx
You need to enroll by the offer’s expiration date (09/30/2017), but have until the term’s end date (11/14/2017) to fulfill it.
Has anyone gotten credit from SunTrust? I made my purchases May 10 and 11, they just told me on the phone it should credit by the end of August.
I was finally paid by Suntrust yesterday (for purchases on May 10/11). They credited me $100 for the DirectTV deal, though.
I have purchased At&t gift cards in the past and used them later to credit to my post paid account. I have also paid more than I owe and kept a credit on my At&t account.
Did you buy them online or in store ? Did you have BofA or another bank offer? Thnx a lot!
I have also gotten this deal more than a few times from boa, but also back in the day I didn’t know you can buy the accessories online or in official store, therefore missing some deals, then managed to get it again late last year (did it and took several months to post), and now Jul 2017, all are $50, not as lucky as those got $75/$100. Great offers are available for the lucky ones and I really feel bad that I did not get a big one.
Regions here. $75 Finally posted today.
Paid 15$ and 16$ towards cell phone bill via online for transactions.
Hey,
May I ask when did the transaction?
I did the same for my Suntrust account in mid-May but the bonus still hasn’t posted, much slower than BoA.
New to this. Have both AT&T and DirecTV offers and added. I have two credit cards and one debit card in my BOA account, how do I know which card is associated with the offer?
I believe any card will work
Read through the older posts for confirmation though as I’m not 100% sure on that
Any personal card will work, including Merrill Lynch cards. Business cards will not trigger the offer.
It’s covered like 3 levels deep in BOA’s online banking; head to Special Offers & Deals > Bank AmeriDeals > How Deals Work.
I have gotten this deal several times from boa, but back in the day I didn’t know you can buy accessories online or in official store, I missed at least 2 deals, then got it again in Sep 2016 (did it and took several months to post), and now Jul 2017, all are $50, not as lucky as those got $75/$100.
Hi, ******, your AT&T transaction did not earn cash back
While processing your cash back deal, we noticed your recent AT&T purchase might not have met the cash back deal criteria (minimum purchase required, etc.). Please review the deal details, as it may still be active to earn cash back.

Anyone else had this?
I definitely met the criteria, spending at least $20 times 2.
This is from the previous promo expired Jun 19
I received same email back when I did this deal in Sep 2016, I made my last/second transaction online in December, received email in Jan?, I didn’t even notice the email because I wasn’t checking email for few months until later, anyway, the credit went pending on March 1st, 2017, then posted few days later.
Sara, did you receive this as an email? Had you contacted BofA about this before they sent you this? When did you receive this, and how long after your purchases?
I received this last week 10 days after the 2nd transaction. I haven’t called in yet.
@sara, I received the same exact e-mail. Did you end up calling in and how did it get resolved? I’m planning to call tomorrow. Thanks.
