- This is a targeted promotion, if you did not receive the e-mail from U.S Bank you’re not eligible
- Must make your purchase between November 17th, 2014 and January 11th, 2015
- Statement credit will be applied to your account within 10-12 weeks after the promotional period ends (January 11th)
- Maximum of one statement credit
Our Verdict
Expect to see more and more of these Apple Pay promotions in the future. Card issuers will desperately want to ensure they gain market share in the mobile app/contactless purchase space. If you have an iPhone 6/6 Plus and received this offer, you’d be silly not to take advantage of it. Find a merchant that you regularly spend at that accepts Apple Pay and use it for a purchase that is around $10 to get the most value out of it. Pretty sure this is only being sent out to those who hold Flex Perks cards, if anybody received this offer that doesn’t have one of these cards then please let me know in the comments section.
