- Wells Fargo is offering a bonus of $500 when you open a new Business Choice or Platinum Business checking account when you complete the following requirements:
- Deposit $2,000
Avoiding Fees
Business Choice Checking $14 Monthly Fee
This is the easier of the accounts to keep fee free. It has a monthly fee of $14 that is waived if you do any one of the following:
- Maintain a $7,500 average ledger balance
- $10,000 in combined balances (business checking, savings, CDs, and credit)
- 10 or more posted business debit card purchases/payments. This includes posted debit card purchases or posted debit card payments of bills from this checking account. This does not include transactions at an ATM
- Linked to a Direct Pay service through Wells Fargo Business Online Banking
- Qualifying transactions from a linked Wells Fargo Merchant Services account
- Qualifying transactions from a linked Wells Fargo Business Payroll Services account
You’re also not charged the monthly fees for the first 60 days/two statement cycles.
Early Account Termination Fee
There is no early account termination fee.
Our Verdict
This is even better than the $300 public bonus that’s currently available. Fingers crossed that Wells Fargo get desperate and make this is a public offer as well. If you do this in branch, don’t forget to add the $500 business credit card bonus as well. As it might be possible to get that card without a hard pull.

Help~ Can someone share their offer letter to me?
Went to branch today. The banker told me that they can not open an account with this $500 promotion. The banker told me that he cannot find my name or company on some kind the list or system. He want me to present the original offer letter and he needs the personal bonus code on it.
I received the same $500 offer, but mine expires April 16 instead of April 2. I’m currently a Wells Fargo business customer though, and I received the $300 bonus on that only a few months ago, so I don’t know how targeted this could actually be. Any harm in me sharing my offer code? It’s only 6 letters/digits long. I don’t plan on using it.
Would you be able to email it to me? my email is ahg2003 @ gmail.com.
Can the targeted code be shared?
(deleted)
I opened it over the phone with a $300 credit card deposit. Process took 3.5 hours. I received direct mailing.
3.5 Hours!? That’s long by any standards no? I’ve spent maybe 1.5 doing a Bank Account in branch but I suppose if you don’t have to leave the house…
Yes. It is.
3.5 hours is INSANE to open an account. You earned every penny of this bonus so I hope you get it sir/mam!
$300
The link is for $300 offer though…
Sorry, let me fix that.
Any suggestions on how one can get ‘targeted’?
