TD Bank Introduces TD CreditView: Free Credit Score

TD Bank has announced that they will now offer their credit card holders a free credit score as part of TD CreditView. To enroll in this you’ll need to do the following:

  •  Enroll in TD Bank personal online services
  • Accept the personal Online Banking Service Agreement

The score is based on your TransUnion credit report and we believe it uses the VantageScore V3 scoring model. This is quite disappointing as it’s already possible to get a free VantageScore from a variety of other websites (e.g Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, Quizzle, WisePiggy or Credit.com). Most consumers want free access to their FICO score as this is the score that the majority of lenders actually use. Thankfully more and more credit card issuers are now offering this as a benefit.

You have to “Allow Pop-Ups” for the Credit Score site to load. Otherwise you see nothing.

You’re supposed to log in through TD Online Banking instead of TD Card services to see the credit score. The thing is, I have, and I still don’t see it (have checking account and CC attached to online banking profile too)
