• SouthEast Bank is offering a bonus of $100 when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
  • Use promo code SWITCH100
  • Make 5 debit card transactions of $1 or more within 30 days of account opening

The Fine Print

• This promotion begins on June 22, 2022, and the new account must be opened by August 31, 2022, to receive the $100 bonus.
• The minimum deposit required to open a qualifying checking account and receive this bonus is $50.
• The account holder must make 5 SouthEast Bank debit card transactions of $1 or more within 30 days of account opening and the account must remain open and in good standing within 90 days of funding in order to receive the bonus.
• The bonus will be credited to the account within five (5) business days of meeting all qualifications. Bonus only available to new SouthEast Bank customers
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict

Unfortunately this bank is ChexSystems sensitive. There was also a $150 checking bonus in the past with similar requirements (e.g no direct deposit requirement).
