William Charles There seems to be a new bonus for $100, $300, and $500 for 3k, 5k and 10k to direct deposits resepctively. https://www.texastrustcu.org/splash/bonus-checking-offer#terms
William Charles Might be worth your look. Pretty hard-to-avoid monthly fee structure after the initial 2 months but seems worth it imo. Most people will only end up paying $15-20 for the entire bonus which isn’t too bad.
If you’ve opened a lot of accounts within the past 3-6 months – Forget about applying. I got denied even though I applied in branch and I gave explanation that I opened a bunch of CDs recently to make use of the better interest rate but they’re least bothered on the reason. My Chex is lol.
Agreed. My Chex is also LOL so I got an instant rejection.
William Charles The terms of this offer don’t appear to limit it to Tom Green County. Please review and change the title and the availability section if you agree.
The web site says, “Serving Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Henderson, Johnson, Tarrant, and Tom Green Counties with branches in Arlington, Athens, Bedford, Cedar Hill, Dallas, Desoto, Flower Mound, Grand Prairie, Hurst, Irving, Mansfield, Midlothian, and San Angelo”.
If somebody applies outside of tom green we will update, I think last time only TG worked.
William Charles There was language in the previous promotion that appeared to limit eligibility to Tom Green County. However, I applied from a different county in their footprint and got the bonus. So even the last promotion wasn’t really limited to Tom Green County. Unless I’m missing something, there is no language in the current promotion that limits this bonus to Tom Green County. Why do you think it might be limited?
