Our Verdict
It’s common to see high cash back rates on VPN purchases, but never seen any above 100%. Some people have issues with Topcashback tracking and paying out, so keep that in mind. Probably wouldn’t do this deal just for the extra cash back, but could be handy if you need a VPN.
Purchased NordVPN via Rakuten on 8/12. Cash back tracked within a day but is still pending after a month. Does anyone’s cash back take this long to be confirmed?
Does it extend your subscription if you already have surfshark?
The offer specifies: “Cash Back is only available for new Surfshark customers on first purchase. Limited to one per member.”
Maybe I should have waited for an offer >100%? In any case, cashback tracked for me in a few hours as many others reported. Thanks DoC!
Great option if you need to trigger a CC’s software credit (e.g., USB Triple Cash)
How? The triple cash card requires monthly consecutive charge to get a refund at end of annual year which is incompatible with all at once payment for cash back site offers like this one
NordVPN deal is so much better. Speeds are so much better and google doesn’t ask me to solve a captcha every time I use it.

never works with amazon and slows down youtube and always have to verify website with capcha. lots of inconveniences with surfshark. is it same with nordvpn?
I can’t speak on YouTube speeds but I’m sure almost all of the major VPN providers and their servers have their IPs tagged/recognized from many major companies. You’re gonna need to find a higher quality VPN service if you want their servers to fly under the radar.
I’m asked for a captcha verification when using NordVPN and SurfShark on Amazon too.
These 100%+ off VPN offers sometimes disappear in less than 24 hours so I’d take advantage of it sooner than later.
Rakuten did not track after 2 hours unfortunately
Unless it is well past 24 hours, I’d strongly recommend to have some patience and give it 24 hours at least. Rakuten is pretty good at tracking and seldom fails.

I did the 27 months at the highest tier. I think it was $122. Got the points for it.
I got $115 tracked. My total was $126 (including NY tax) – so not sure it was worth it for me since I am not going to use it.

Yes. I did it the previous round. Just did for p2. Note that these were separate 100% back offers. The first one cashed out August 15. This one is tracking and points pending as usual.
