Our Verdict
How useful this deal is will depend on how much Topcashback payout you have and how easy you find it to unload Visa giftcards.
Hat tip to reader EW & WAmy
it’s still 10/25/2024 and the offer is dead
Dang Citi payments don’t work with these anymore? I just did one in September…must have been a pretty recent change? These were the last cards that I knew worked there. I guess that’s the final nail in the coffin for Citi debit card payments for me.
BeFrugal also changed their virtual payout cards recently and now their virtual Visa IS working with Citi pay by phone.
I was able to pay insurance premium at Medicare.gov with this “new” virtual TCB Visa.
Will this offer still be available ON FRI 10 25 2024 or must it be redeemed on Thusday10 24? Opinions and experiences appreciated
Thanks for the heads up. Will cash out to pay doctor’s bill.
BEWARE: As others mentioned, this doesn’t work with Citi pay by phone anymore and it’s unable to be added to Google Pay. That’s just evil blocking off tap to pay. Someone also mentioned that it doesn’t even work with Amazon anymore. And the card expires in only 6 months!! They are literally sealing off all of the main exits and hoping you forfeit the cash. Never again…SHAME, TCB, SHAME!!!
Had trouble using it to reload Amazon Gift Card balance.
Went to Target website and ordered a custom amount Target gift card via email delivery to myself.
Virtual card option no longer working to pay Citi credit card by phone. 🙁
careful everyone. often you cannot add to mobile wallets. mine never worked and stuck with it. never again. they adveritise that you can and when you get it ..doesnt work.
Thanks for posting this. I have been waiting over a year for this rate to come back.
Sarcasm, right? Cause why’d anyone leave money that long in a CB site that can go under any day just to save, I don’t know, 2%?
I also like to wait for this promo. Only time I worried about tcb going under was right at beginning of covid
