The Offer
- Topcashback is offering 110.25% cashback on CyberGhost VPN
Our Verdict
Some people have tracking issues with Topcashback, so keep that in mind. There was a similar offer for Private Internet Access recently.
Hat tip to reader Sam
Also got the email today showing invoice for a full refund, but my credit card shows a refund of $16.27 only, which makes sense as a pro-rated amount of the $24 password manager feature. Account is otherwise still working the same.
Interesting. The refund has not yet posted to my card, so I’m not sure what they actually refunded to my card. I’ll report back when it posts. No response yet from them as to whether they will do anything to fix this problem they created.
I also got the prorated refund. This is even more annoying now. Still no resolution on the issues with my 3 year subscription being abruptly canceled. No timeline for getting it fixed either. I have now asked them to provide me with the full refund as promised by the invoice they provided me. They are looking into that, but promising me nothing. Not sure if I’m the only one in this situation or not, but I’ll update when they get back to me.
I’m in the same situation. Email showing an invoice for a full refund, but the credit card shows $16.27. The VPN service no longer works and the account shows that the subscription is expired. I emailed support to try to get the VPN service working again.
So today I got an e-mail saying the entirety of my subscription was refunded and canceled instead of just the password manager. My account no longer works. They told me to just reorder; but they no longer offer the same services as they previously did. They are looking into whether they can help me. If not, I’ll move on to the next free VPN deal, but this is definitely annoying.
How can thy send me a bunch of emails telling me you will stop the password manager only, and then cancel a 3 year vpn and dedicated subscription with no notice?
Received an email today that the password manager is being discontinued and remaining subscription will be refunded (100% of the cost, whatever it was in, in my case since I never used it).
Same. I was curious so I looked into it. The Password Manager portion was only $24 when we did the deal a few months ago, and it was a 1 year subscription, so we’ll be getting $20ish back. #shittychurning
IT’S PAYABLE
Like others, the cashback is updated to payable today. Purchased on Sep 05th. Updated to Confirmed on Nov 11th.
same.
$324.95 went payable today! Still missing the $2.50 bonus from TCB but not going to complain about it.
This just went payable for me today! Hopefully for everyone else as well. Great surprise considering support was saying it would take up to 6 months. Purchased September 5th.
Finally changed the status to confirmed. Purchased on Sep 05th. Updated to Confirmed on Nov 11th.
Bad news from TCB customer support on this “deal”: cashback may not be payable until 26 weeks after sign-up ” to see that you have stuck with them before they will deem you as eligible for cashback”. Anyone who signed up on September 5th should expect to see it turn payable on or around March 6th, 2023. Horrible.
If so, I will not do this again from this company. Swagg paid it quickly.
ugh… great.
Insane. It’s $100 stolen
Great…. Watch them turn around and deny all the cashback.
2022/11/11 – confirmed. Payable soon then.
This thing has been “pending” since September 6 for me? When will the status become confirmed? Dominique
I would love to know too, Dominique
yes, Dominique , would like to know as well… This would be the last offer I did with this company. one bad experience after another – literally, the worst of all cashback portals.
Hi There,
I can confirm that the account manager has reached out to the network and we are hoping to hear back from them soon. We appreciate your patience while we are actively working on this.
Best Wishes,
Dominique
