I referred my fiancé and he made an account, and both our accounts were shut down and all our cash back rescinded because we were deemed as making “fraudulent” and “illegitimate” transactions. There is no appeals process.
Adding the end date might help.

We would advise that members should only have one account with us. It’s all good with families signing up at one address as long as each family member has their own personal account with us.

How do you determine if multiple accounts are multiple family members versus one member creating multiple accounts?

No and please do not project your own intentions onto me, if they are openly stating that people can have multiple accounts per address/household then they are obviously inviting people to create multiple accounts. So I am just giving them an opportunity to clarify.
I think their post here is going to have the opposite effect as they are intending as it stands. So up to them if they want to clarify or not.
My intentions? I’ve only had 1 TCB account for many years and have never attempted to open another.

To Clarify, a member should only be operating one account with us to be fair when using our site. Our systems can detect unfairness and our team would investigate before taking action if needed.
If you would like to refer your family member you can do this but we would advise that they should be the sole owner of the account.

Is your system able to access web cameras? Do you all have the composition of every household? How would your system be able to tell the difference between one person creating two accounts versus two people creating two accounts from within the same household?

Referring family member living at same address seems very subject to interpretation. Apparently, TCB has the right to make determination at your sole discretion and there won’t be an appeal court ^_^
My question is, at what point your decision becomes final, like the referral is legit, we are just waiting for payday. When the referral bonus status becomes confirmed? Or it could change any day before the referred purchase ready to payout based on latest AI algorithm?
The latter could take a long time. It would be very frustrating for people waiting for months, only to find out it’s denied. Especially when it’s an impulse buy on a “good deal” partial thanks to your offer.

Does TCB restrict to ACH to withdraw these larger sign-up bonuses? I feel like TCB has pretty low threshold to shut down accounts if they think somebody is self-referring or creating multiple accounts, even with smaller bonus amounts. So just proceed with caution if planning to try and do so.
Make sure to use vpn or cellular data so that both accounts are not on same IP address.
I think a lot of these sites detect VPNs and block accounts created with them.
Is it a problem if the referring account is new? Like haven’t completed first purchase and earned any cashback yet. I have an account but first purchase was cancelled, wondering if it’s ok to refer others before earning anything myself. Thanks
Kind of nice for P2+ schemes, as you don’t have to keep the account alive beyond qualifying purchase.
