The Fine Print

• Only New Entity (non-Institutional) Individual or Joint equities and futures accounts with the correct promotional code entered and funded with New Assets (as defined below) greater than $500.00 are eligible for this cash offer.
• To qualify, you must enroll by entering the promotional code on new account application or request to enroll a new account, via telephone, with a TradeStation Representative. You must fund the Account with New Assets within 45 calendar days of Account enrollment.
• New Assets is defined as cash or securities held at a financial institution other than TradeStation (assets transferred from an existing TradeStation account do not qualify).
• Your Account will not qualify for the cash offer if you withdraw or transfer assets from your Account, then redeposit them into the Account.
• New Assets will be aggregated during the 45-calendar day period following the enrollment date to determine qualification.
• Asset fluctuations (up or down) do not affect the calculation of Qualifying Assets. The cash offer will be determined based on Qualifying Assets in the Account as follows: Less than $500.00 – cash reward of $0; $500 or more – 5 cash rewards of $10 (total of $50)
• Cash reward will be paid out in monthly increments of $10.

Our Verdict

Not as good as the previous deal where you got $100 for depositing $500+. People are still waiting for that bonus though.  I doubt we will see a deal that could again, but I’m hopeful we will see another $100 deal with slightly higher requirements in the future. That being said this bonus runs through August 31st, 2020 and I’m not sure they will run two promos at the same time so it might be a bit of a wait. Personally I’d recommend waiting, but I could see why people would just do this deal. I’ll add this to the best brokerage bonuses but with the disclaimer that waiting is probably the move.
