Turo & Delta Airlines Partner (2,000 Miles For First Booking, 500 For All Other Bookings)

Turo has partnered with Delta Airlines to offer bonus miles on Turo car rentals. You’ll get 2,000 SkyMiles on your first Turo booking and 500 miles on all bookings after that. Turo isn’t on any other portals so this is a nice bonus for people that use Turo.

If you love quality writing, the comments section of every photo posted on the Turo Facebook page is 10 out of 10. I’ve never seen so many enraged, articulate people!

Got curious and went to check the Turo Facebook photo comments… was not disappointed. Yikes, this has me second-guessing ever using Turo. When things work out, that’s great. When things go wrong, their customer service is worse than Citi.

Oh no… I was planning on using Turo for the first time when we go to Orlando in March.

I always had a suspicion that they weren’t great. I almost used them on a trip because of lack of rental cars nowadays, but I think sticking to rental cards makes the most sense here, especially since you get points on travel cards. Also not a fan of Zipcar for those wondering as well.

I checked with my auto insurance company and Amex before I attempted to rent a car for my trip. Neither my insurance company nor Amex covers collision with the Turo.

Not saying I couldn’t have gotten bad info from a rep, but I have it in writing from my insurance company (Liberty) that Turo is specifically included in the rental car coverage.
