TAV Operation Services has recently opened two new lounges at JFK airport, one in Terminal 1 (Primeclass lounge) and the other in Terminal 4 (Air India Maharaja Lounge). The lounges will be accessible to Priority Pass members according to the press release, but currently neither lounge shows on the Priority Pass website so it’s unclear when that access will begin.
Hat tip to TPG
Visited Air India lounge… they don’t allow PP between 3-5:30PM, unless traveling on EgyptAir.
I will respect PP if they add lounges in fortress hubs. Nothing in denver. UAL should be written up for monopoly power there.
And Atlanta?
Phoenix also. One of the biggest airports in the country. No PP lounge.
Two new lounges is not enough. The overcrowding will still be overwhelming at both.
Especially since they’re opening it to Lounge Buddy and every other lounge program as well….
Wingtips in terminal 4 is pretty good.
Jet Blues terminal 5 doesn’t have any lounge and that’s why sometimes i pick Delta or AA (terminal 8) over JB.
Hopefully before next month! I wouldn’t mind a lounge, even if I have to clear security twice.
Meanwhile at Newark….
EWR has two Priority Pass lounges, which is still two more than LGA.
It’s about time! Wingtips at JFK T4 can be so stingy… they turn away Priority Pass members so often, even when the place is half empty.
Well, at least they’re adding instead of taking away access
Seriously. One of the few updates that isn’t a devaluation!
