Last week, U.S. Bank added information showing transaction-by-transaction break down of how many points were earned on each purchase and which purchases have earned a bonus category. They’ve also added visibility for pending points which have not yet posted.
This additional information is showing for all consumer U.S. Bank credit cards in the ‘View Rewards’ tab.
Hat tip to kampfree
great now let us redeem under 25 dollars
Real-time rewards has a $10 minimum. Either still seems pretty arbitrary; does it cost them much to process statement credit?
To be clear, points per transaction are likely only shown for Altitude cards in view of my Altitude Connect and Go. For Cash+, it remains as 1% per transaction and bonus cash back in aggregation.
Oh man!!! I’ve been waiting for this feature since I got the card! (the Altitude Reserve) … this is great!
Discussion on FT points to USB AR 1.5 RTR being nuked. Not sure if you’ve heard anything, but if you’re sitting on points now might be a time to dump them.
Yes, the talk is it’s going as of May 1.
Hopefully it doesn’t, but I cashed most of my points out at 1.5x just in-case.
ugh. i found them hard to use for hotels.
That would essentially ruin the card, unless they add transfer partners at the same time (and amazing ones at that)
About this. This feature is great
Is this new info just for core US Bank cards? I got a US Bank Kroger card and I don’t see anything new that shows any points breakdown.
Meh, their entire website & app experience still suck imo.
You think so? I like the layout of their website and app. It’s very modern.
The transaction by transaction breakdown is not new. I saw it several months ago. Not sure when it was added though.
nice now it’d be great to see it in the mobile app too
