The Offer

• Use your JCB card (all US-issued consumer JCB card accounts only) at JCB merchants in the U.S. with the designated amount during the campaign period and get a reward of up to $100:
  • Spend $1,000 or more and get $100
  • Spend $500 or more and less than $1,000 and get $50
  • Spend $300 or more and less than $500 and get $30

The Fine Print

• Valid from December 16th until December 31st, 2016
• Rewards will be posted as a credit on your account within 8 weeks of the promotion end date
• Credit is issued on a per account basis and cannot be combined with another JCB account

JCB cards are supposed to work with any business that accepts Discover, but that doesn’t always work in reality. I wonder if a merchant has to specifically accept JCB cards for this promotion or if any purchase will count (e.g ones that run it through Discover).
