Our Verdict

We frequently see these offers from United, they have been a bit different than normal since COVID-19 as they used to require you to fly more than you normally would to be eligible for a big flat bonus whereas now it seems to be points multipliers.

Don’t see how that can be legal to change a promotion midway through (the terms do state offers are subject to change without notice), so I’d recommend escalating if your offer has gotten worse and you planned to complete it.
