The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • US Bank is offering 75,000 points, worth $750, after you spend $7,500 within 4 months when you get approved for the business Leverage card.

Card Details

  • Annual fee of $95 waived first year, employee cards are free
  • Card earns 2x points per $1 spent made in the top two categories where you spend the most each month, 1x points on all other purchases
  • Points don’t transfer to Flexperks or Altitude. Minimum redemption for statement credit is 5,000

Our Verdict

This card launched back in 2018. At the time, the signup bonus was that you get an extra point per dollar for the first year, up to 100,000 points. There was at one point a targeted signup bonus of 100k with $10k spend. In any case, this public $750 signup bonus offer is the best public offer we’ve seen. It’s quite a good deal as you’ll end up getting 11-12% back on your $7,500 spend requirement.

Check out these Things To Know About US Bank before applying. US Bank doesn’t report business credit cards to the personal credit bureaus. One thing to watch out for is that with US Bank cards, the employee/AU cards can not do the spend to meet the minimum spend requirement.

DP: Applied for the Business Leverage and Business Triple Cash Rewards back to back on 28/10. Both apps went pending until the next day when both were approved.

Just a heads up for anyone signing up with a targeted flyer. I was enrolled automatically called central billing and had to create a new login in order to pay off the card. It will not show current balance otherwise

Thank you for posting this information. I came across this problem today when trying to get/pay my first bill. I also used a mailer. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with US Bank getting bounced around, I finally hung up. They said I need to set up a separate account and need my “Central billing” account number, which I don’t have. I did find out though that when you call in, you can ask for details on the “Total Business Relationship” which will give you the balance due for the statement verbally, and it says you can make a payment on the card which will be applied, so that is one option I am considering.

Also someone I spoke to said they could get me transferred to someone else and I could have the account “re-structured” to only use the credit card account instead of the overall account as well. I opted not to do this, because I am worried it would affect the sign up bonus.

Likely, I will just call in to get the amount due and make the payment to the credit card online for now, and then once the bonus hits, i will have the account converted.

How were you able to get your “central billing” account number? joe

This whole central billing thing makes no sense at all, I simply got lucky with a very informed rep. All you have to do is create a new login with the biz card number and last 4 social here and you’ll pretty much end up with two accounts and you can start making payments online with the new login without having to call in.

I’m hunting for the $750 as well so not taking any chances and just decided to put up with it without converting

For anyone who has recently opened this card or completed the bonus, did you have a spending tracker in the mobile app towards the bonus? I had this show when I did the Altitude Connect, but it is not showing for the Business Leverage card. It was very convenient, so wondering if anyone knows why it’s not showing in the app.

Same datapoint. Tracker for Connect but not Leverage. Made me worry my sign up offer didn’t get attached to Leverage but maybe it’s normal. Did you call USB?
