Our Verdict
Bonus requirements are very easy, we just need to know if it’s a hard/soft pull.

Opened 3/10/25. It gave me an account number when I oppened, but when I tried to set up online access, it wouldn’t let me. I called in and they said they need to verify something manually and they would call me later to fully open my account. They called me the next week on 3/17, so it took a minute. I ended up going in to a branch to fund my account. 3/17 $100 deposit cash
3/17 $100 bonus posted
The bonus posted the day of depositing the funds, which was awesome. I’m not sure if that’s because I funded the account in person or some other reason, but I’ll take it.
No bonus yet and it’s now a couple business days after the 15th of the month following my account opening.
2/28/25 Opened account and deposited $105
Maybe I got bucketed into March account openings since my account was set up (via phone) on the 28th. I guess we’ll see in April.
See my comment below for the opening process, but just noting in a new comment that I was credited the $100 bonus the next day after my initial opening deposit went through.
A bit of a pain to open, but fastest bonus ever!
Not exactly. See this DP: #2007013 .
I applied OOS and opened the account just fine on 2/17/25. Funded account with $100 via debit card and set up online access. I opened the account today, and I can’t log in because the account is disabled. I would contact customer service, but it’s a weekend. No credit hard pull BTW.
Was there a Chex inquiry?
I don’t know if there was a Chex inquiry. I don’t monitor my Chex. No credit inquiry though.
Finally got ahold of customer service. Apparently, the account was closed retroactively a day or two after I managed to open. The rep told me that a check with my account balance had already been mailed to my address. A little annoyed they let me open the account in the first place just to close it but OOS doesn’t work.
Tried to apply oos:

I live in the area of this CU, so figured it was an easy bonus to grab. I went ahead and had my credit reports frozen to just be sure I don’t get a hard pull. I completed the application and verification process and got a success message with my account number. Nothing else happened yet, no email and no access to the online banking. We’ll wait and see I guess.
Applied as well and got accepted, doesn’t appear to be Chex sensitive and no hard pull. After I got approved though nothing happened, online enrollment doesn’t work with account number it gave me, nor did I get email or any contact about account.
Same for me. I’ve applied two separate times actually and got two different account numbers, but talked to them on chat and they can’t find anything about me and my account. They said to try in branch, but not sure if offer is still valid in branch and not really wanting to go in. Very frustrating though and seems like it has to do with verifying ID as nothing occurs when you need to do that.
Same for me. I called in and they couldn’t find my account number the system generated or my application at all. They’re messed up. Passing on bothering with this one any longer.
Ha. right after I posted this someone completely different called me and finished setting up my account. It took 30 minutes over the phone. Such a slow process. But he verified the promotion was valid and now I’m all set up.
Are you OOS?
No
Thanks for the heads up, I had a voicemail from them so I just called them back and got my account set up.
