Can a separate link be added above for referrals like other banks have on DOC? As this offer is back on both Swagbucks and MyPoints. Pretty sure a double dip could be accomplished by using a referral link from people on this site. Chance to make an extra $30 that way

That’s odd. Have you ever opened a Varo account with either of those in the past? As that is the only time I notice that an offer does not show up for me. Try this: While logged in on SwagBucks click Activity in the points drop down upper right. On left side HOVER over Account and click Discover. Left side again and click All Offers. Middle screen under Most Popular choose SB max-min. Under Account upper right Log Out. Scroll down to Earn 70.00 and you should see Varo. Click Varo. Click Get 7000 SB. If you have the SwagButton on browser it will now allow you to sign up OR if you’ve done the offer it will say Offer Unavailable. I would think the same scenario would work on MyPoints too as the sites are similar.

Racoonzel How much is that, around $60? I think it went up form 30 to 60 on both (SB as well) but still not as good as it was earlier

Anybody had the problem to redeem points for visa gift card from this promotion.
“Your order for Visa $100 Reward Card has been verified and is now processing.” I had this on 6/28/2022.
But I still did not receive the card. I contact the CSR for several rounds. There is still no slution.

I finally got my 12,000 SB points after some hassle

04/23 is when i opened acct, $25 Chase ACH hit by 05/01.

Waited 45 days , nada, waited a little longer, nada

Filled a support ticket on 6/15 with proof of Varo account opening, my name and the ACH transfer. They got back to me in like 10 days and give me some secure link where i had to take a selfie of my front face to verify my credentials.

Then got some e-mails from support and Authentic e-mails saying “Your 12,000 SB points are verified and on the way and will post to you account by 07/02. Which they did just now

Looks like these scumbag 3rd party website companies actually paid out after all, cause most of them generally never do since i have abysmal luck.

Things might be looking peachy and finally starting to go my way. Maybe I’ll purchase some lottery tickets later on today 😂

thanks for commenting, I finally got a reply from support and the rep is saying I needed to spend $25, Nah…that wasn’t part of the terms. SB does pay, but sometimes its a hassle

Can anyone remember what the outside of the Varo debit car2d envelope looked like in the mail? Did it say Varo on it? I’m overseas right now and have USPS informed delivery.. curious if the letter that says Varo on the front if the envelope is just a welcome letter or the actual debit card?

Gotta put a warning out there about MyPoints. Who wants to spend countless hours haggling over an offer that was tracked with screen shots on their own app.

On June 8, 2022, at 9:51 pm, I used the MyPoints iOS app to participate in this Varo offer. I took screen shots of each step so I could prove that I used the MyPoints app (not any third party software) and followed all rules for the transaction. The offer was for 20,000 points on the MyPoints system if I opened and funded a Varo account. I clicked through the offer link on the MyPoints app. At the top of the page when I clicked through, it said Varo 20,000 PTS in an orange banner. I immediately without any delay created my login (screen shot confirms this was at 9:53 pm the same day) and then immediately completed all other steps to open the Varo account. The screen shot from Varo also had the 20,000 points clearly visible in the banner upon entering my email.

The only other requirement to get the 20,000 points was to fund the account, which I did also immediately.

At the time I signed up, I used only the MyPoints app with no third party software, no VPN, and nothing else that could have blocked tracking. Indeed, the banners on the signup pages show that the offer WAS tracking for 20,000 points.

When I had met all the requirements of the offer and saw it was not “pending” at MyPoints, I contacted customer service. Since then, I have had the runaround from a fellow named Dominick. When he really doesn’t want to help, he sends an automated response demanding a government ID before he will help. (this is intrusive and should be unnecessary to get customer service – but in any event, his automated system will not accept my extended driver’s license – so at that point no more customer service occurs)

At one point, Dominick claimed the offer didn’t track, which is obviously false as the screen shots show it was tracking the whole time. He then put 12,000 points pending instead of the 20,000 promised. and has since stonewalled either with non responsive responses or automated robot responses. I have been unable to reach his supervisor.

Certainly it’s understandable for a merchant to refuse credit if a customer uses ad blocking or other software that inhibits tracking. but in this case, the offer was visibly tracking and was done entirely using MyPoints’ own app. if it supposedly “didn’t track,” the fault is entirely their own making this fraud and a bait and switch.

I’m not sure I’ll use MyPoints again. It’s no fun to do all this work to get an offer and then have this kind of bait and switch and stonewalling.

Swagbucks did the same to me, what other choose do we have but to apply with either of them we just have to take it, mine didn’t track either but I’m not sure how long I need to wait to file a claim since I only applied 10 days ago and no1 I’ve asked has responded on how long it takes to track.

I’ve now filed complaints with CFPB, BBB, and Varo. I don’t believe it “didn’t track” when it clearly showed that it tracked. I think part of these companies’ business model is not to pay out commissions on a lot of the tracked sales. Had one on Rakuten a week ago where it said cash back wasn’t awarded but yet they magically had the order number recorded on the site. how could they possibly have my order number if it didn’t track?

so I’m taking the suggestions others made here and going to make official complaints.

I have done this offer multiple times from different portals. They all had this language in the terms (or Top 3 Things to Know): Your award will not Pend. Allow 45 days for award to appear in your account. So unlike many other offers, you will not see the points pending. The portal will just post the points to your account one day. This has been the case for me in all my churns.

Yep You signed up on June 8th. Assuming it was tracked correctly, and assuming the initial deposit was posted on the same day, the award points can be posted to your account any time before July 23rd. You should wait until after that to file a ticket if you never receive the points. Evilex

ShawntheShawn Do you have to change your email address to avoid an error message from Varo when applying? I did the deal with Swagbucks first and then had to change my email address with MyPoints to proceed with the application when churning round 2. What other sites have you used to get this deal to work? I’ve never used InboxDollars before but will try that one next. Thanks.

Lefty I used a different email every time. So make sure you use different emails for different portals, as the offer requires you to use the same email associated with your portal account to open the Varo account. Check other Prodege sites, including UPromise, Tada, and ySense. I have done UPromise and I have seen Varo offer on Tada.

I had the same email address for Swagbucks and MyPoints prior to churning but was able to update the email address in MyPoints before clicking through the link and applying same day. Got the 20,000 MP in 13 days so it was quick turnaround. Looks like MyPoints pulled the offer for Varo so will have to wait to complete this for P2’s churn.

Chime is not churnable. If your SSN has ever been associated with a Chime account, they will not open a new account for you. I heard you could call them to reactivate your old account. But I do not think that would earn points from portals.
