- Sling is offering Verizon customers 2 free months of Sling Blue or Orange at no cost, along with two months of free Showtime.
Our Verdict
Anyone can see the offer at the above landing page, though I don’t know for certain that it’ll work for everyone, so be sure to check that it’s showing a $0 cost at checkout. Thanks to reader Dan – who found this in his Verizon Wireless app – for sharing this deal.
I cancelled my old Sling account and used this link for a new one using a different email address and different credit card. It worked!
I signed up to SlingTV and my CC got charged immediately!!!. I contacted its customer service via chat and they said that they do not handle this promotion (note: the promotion is at Verizon website but not SlingTV). Anyway, they agreed to reimburse my payment and they cancelled the subscription.
I signed up via the first link (https://www.sling.com/deals/promo/verizon?partner_code=VZ9H8S2T9J4F) and it seemed to work. Said 2 months free of Sling Blue plus Showtime. This was on 12/25. Today I see a $35 bill on my credit card and I’m getting lots of “sorry but you’re SOL” from Sling. I gave them the link and they admit the offer was free, but they say their computer won’t give refunds. I told them that this is fraud and they are still trying….. Their instinct is to tell their developers to change the offer rather than make me whole. Very sleazy company.
Thanks, everyone, the new URL worked for me.
I can’t get it to work. I had Sling several years ago.
New customers only. Sling runs promotions like this or sometime, they give out hardware along with a free month of service.
Just create a new email and use that.
Verizon is such a fraud company. I switched to ATT after being with verizon for 24 months when my contract ended. They took my trade ins and never paid me for that. Also they are selling screen protectors from ZAGG for 59.99 which are available at bestbuy/traget/ATT for 34.99
STAY away from VERIZON….OR be ready to suffer eventually, down the road.
I’ve had Verizon for about 15 years and have never had a problem with them.
