Just as a caution, I took VZW up on their 12 months of Disney+ free offer. It is absolutely impossible to cancel if you downgrade from unlimited, as I did because of Covid WFH and no travel. Literally impossible, nobody at Verizon can downgrade you, through multiple tiers of customer service. D+ cannot help since it’s billed through VZW, I imagine that’s the case here too. Had to switch carriers to get the charge to stop, and it didn’t even stop then. Don’t sign up unless you actually want this and are willing to pay for it.
It is easy to cancel Disney+ via the VZ web site. I did. Then went back to Disney site and signed up again for the annual plan for only DIsney.
That’s what the Verizon reps kept telling me to do, but the option just flat did not appear in my account. Nobody knew why and they couldn’t cancel it on their end either.
I only want DIY and Cooking channels as my cable charges extra for them. Signed up with VZ got 6 months will cancel after 6 months.
“Get 12 months of discovery+ on us when you have one line on Play More or Get More Unlimited. Eligible plans for 6 months of discovery+ on us include the Verizon Unlimited plan, Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, Above Unlimited, Do More Unlimited, and Start Unlimited. Business accounts are not eligible.”
It looks like my Verizon app shows 12 free months
Same for me
The problem is Discover+ doesn’t have good content.
Is this related to Discovery channel ?
Back in the days of cable TV they used to have fantastic content on wild life and what not
Definitely matter of opinion. I wouldn’t watch a lot of the stuff, but there’s definitely some good things in there. Not for everyone though, as no channel is for everyone.
