I thought it was for the new Buds Live and was kicking myself for not waiting. Picked up 5 Buds Live recently when they had it for 40% off. I got the Buds + thru Dell(thanks Amex). This thing is great even though it doesn’t have ANC. The snug fit makes it seem like it has ANC. The sound quality is okay. It won’t impress you a Bose SoundSport Wireless. But it is truly wireless and the battery life is amazing.
I was just watching some videos on the new Buds Live, they look interesting. The bean shape looks like they might fit in my ear is better than the traditional rubber-tipped style earbuds. How do you think they fit, sound, and are they good for active or casual use? The price point seems a little high for me right now, so hopefully they go on special sometime.
Sorry, I can’t comment on them because I haven’t opened them, they arrived today. I bought them because they were cheap. Thinking of gifting a couple and flipping the rest on eBay. I even bought the Airpod Pro’s when they went on sale at Staples a few weeks back. They’re still sealed. I currently use the Bose 700, Bose SoundSport Wireless, and now the Buds+. Bose 700 is great for home use. Sound is amazing, ANC is unparalleled. I was disappointed with the SoundSport because I couldn’t find a good fit that will stay put. And the wire gets in the way. This is where Buds+ shines. Comfortable fit and it’s a snug fit and doesn’t move even when you’re running. Bose sound quality is impressive and they pair to multiple devices. Buds+ only pairs with phones, I think. Btw, love your handle. I think I may have a problem. Can’t pass up a deal when I see it.
Thanks for the info. Since rubber-tipped earbuds hurt my ears and Apple Earpods have the wrong shape and don’t stay in my ears always by always falling out, I thought these new Samsung galaxy buds live might be something that would work for me. I have to make sure to check out eBay for some good deals. Hopefully, people post legit items still sealed not etc. not scamming.
I know what you mean. I can tolerate the rubber tips since I’ve been using headphones for 30+ years. If I wear them for a long time, everything gets uncomfortable after awhile.
A friend got me the Bose QC20 as a gift and I used it well every time I flew. Even though it wasn’t wireless, the NC feature was awesome. From the reviews, it looks like the Buds Live are going in a totally different direction from previous designs and other manufacturers. Many have commented on how comfortable they are and even forget that they’re wearing them. Buds Live may be the pair for you.
