Verizon: Subscribe To Uber One For $96 & Get A Year Of Netflix Premium For Free

The Offer

  • Verizon is offering a free year of Netflix Premium ($275) when you subscribe to Uber One for $96 via +play (Verizon hub for content subscriptions, available to all mobile and home internet customers)

Our Verdict

If you’re paying for Netflix anyway then this is a good savings. Previously had the same deal for Peacock.

I purchased and activated, but it still says I need to set up in Verizon. However, when I go to Netflix, it says I am already set up through Verizon.

This worked for me, on SD: “I had the pending issue too. I unsubscribed Uber One subscription in manage on +play page. Then purchased the Uber One/Netflix combo again. My credit card did not get charged twice. Fixed the problem for me.” The Netflix part says pending for about 5-10 min, then it let me set it up.

Dang, still didn’t work for me. This fixed the issue where my Uber still had a “Set Up” button, but my Netflix is still Pending. I followed these instructions yesterday afternoon.

Thank you, that worked! Weird because it seems like it’ll charge again, but it in fact doesn’t. I don’t understand how any regular person would ever guess to do this series of steps.

found the fix for the netflix issue. unsubscribe from uber one and then activate the promo again. link uber one and then click “manage verizon subscriptions” in top left corner and you should be able to click “manage” under netflix

Appears to be gone or I wasn’t eligible. Not showing in my account or offers

Probably were not eligible. I didn’t see it in the app, so I found the landing page on the website, signed in, said I wasn’t eligible. You can try the same with the link here: https://www.verizon.com/plusplay/pdp/buy-uber-get-netflix/

I did not see it on my Netflix account. I went to the Uber1 page and clicked the button that says “manage membership through Verizon” on upper right. After that I landed on a Verizon page that said I had to set up Netflix–after 2 or 3 more clicks, it activated Netflix.

Found on offer on my separate FIOS only account and snagged it online from my computer. Easy setup online, Accepted offer and setup payment then prompted to set up Uber one with my existing uber eats account by signing in when prompted then was supposed to bring me to set up Netflix but it did not. I went back to my Verizon portal and the message waiting for me was to finish setting up my Netflix account which I then signed into my recently canceled account and accepted the $0.00 monthly fee for the year. Whole process took just a couple mins.

Has anyone found a solve for the Netflix activation issue? On +Play, my Uber still has a “Set Up” button that redirects to the same page (even though my Uber membership is successfully set up), and Netflix says “Pending. We are processing your subscription. Please refresh or check again soon”. Has said this for 24 hours.

I have the same problem! I chatted with support and they had no clue. They didn’t even know what Verizon + play was.

Works like a charm through the verizon website. I provides links to login into Uber and Netflix. I checked my Netflix account and it showed immediately the Verizon membership. Saved me over $100 on my yearly subscription costs, thank you!!!
