Took a peak but the fees make this a non-starter. US-departures and LHR departures you’re looking at $800+ in fees one-way. This

Virgin is known for excessively high fees on reward flights. You are basically paying for the ticket! Book with delta points or air france/klm points.

Yeah flying into Heathrow on a Virgin award has high fees. Better to use Virgin miles to fly on Delta or other partner, but I dont think that’s party of the sale here.

lol horrible. dunno if they’re talking about pts off or the “LHR FEE $900 USD”. The only time I found value flying Virgin was trying out their new A330 Neos in November when they were first released. November sale 50% non-peak. So it was 22k pts + $600 fee which was okay. + Virgin Lounge in LHR is topnotch.

Depends. It’s ok if you would like to try KLM and AF business class, which are mid tier at best + $300. I havn’t found Delta One 50k 5.60 deals since last year. We will see what happens after Virgin joins Skyteam in a few weeks and see if they will get devalued again, esp with sky poo poo partnership.
