Our Verdict
Normally it’s a $5 Walgreens card. Lowest denomination for Uber is $15. Most likely not worth a visit just for this deal, but if you’re going in anyway it could be useful.

Ok. Makes sense. I see this deal come almost every alternate week with different gift cards. Will be on the lookout and post. By the way for me the 10$ bonus Walgreens card that I got in previous deals could be used to pay for these gift cards. So got it for free.
Posts on slickdeals confirm that it is working on non-uber cards, but no one has reported any success with uber (except through manual fixes from a manager).
Did not work for me. Local ad online showed the offer, but cashier had no idea and had to show them my phone. They tried an any-value Walgreens card and put in $10, but the register did not take it off, even with my Walgreens number entered.
I got this to work today. Store had a sign that they discontinued physical print ads, so I showed it on my phone. Manager somehow knew the problem was that the Walgreens gift card had to be a certain design (the plainest one), and it worked.

Check your weekly ad and make sure your store has this offer. You are able to use Walgreens GC to purchase gift cards. Cashiers won’t know about this deal so make sure you bring up a Walgreens GC and ask for $10 and enter your phone number
One more data point that the deal does not work for uber. I have done these deals before so I know exactly how they’re supposed to work. This one has not been programmed properly.
Does walgreen GC be used to buy other GC’s like amazon?
Yes, even more Uber or amazon or whatever you’d like.
I could not get Uber to work, ad showed Uber, but instore cardboard flyer does not mention Uber.
they sent me another email for $5. you have to shop there 5 times this month to get it. they have drive-thru service, so it could be worth it depending on what you buy. also, keep in mind that you could use venmo for 5% off, or the cashapp boost.
CashApp boost seems a better deal since it is 15% off (at least on my account), which makes these cards a buy at an amazing 48.33% discount.
What will you purchase 2 Uber cards valued at @84% and use Walgreens $10 to purchase bby?
I guess it depends on personal situations. For me;
1. My family likes Domino’s so I will buy their GCs.
2. Whole milk at WG is cheaper than even WM and Costco, and I have a WG close-by.
Anything special to make this work? I tried to buy two $15 Taco Bell GCs, and when they rang them up it didn’t say anything about getting a $10 Walgreens gift card. I asked if they could scan a Walgreens $10 card to see if it would comp it off, but they said they didn’t even carry Walgreens gift cards except for returns…
Did you use your Walgreens membership account? The flyer says “with Card”.

You need to ring these up, enter your Walgreens number, and scan a $10 Walgreen Giftcard. It will take $10 off the gc
It isn’t very area. You need to bring a Walgreens card to the register and have them load $10 when they’re loading the other ones. Then the $10 should come off at the end if you used your loyalty account (first time I have seen with card on one of these deals)
I tried 3 different locations today. The promo doesn’t seem to be live at the moment. They all had different excuses (i.e. it has to be a certain design WG giftcard), and wouldn’t honor the ad. Of course non of their excuses was correct, as I tried all the designs I could see.
