denied, 6 inquiries
I live in MA and was denied because I am out of their footprint:
You will need to reside or work within Hampden or Hampshire Counties of Massachusetts or the Granby area, Northern Hartford, or Northern Tolland Counties of Connecticut
Or
Be enrolled in a school of higher education within Hampshire or Hampden Counties of Massachusetts
People that were denied, be careful to check if they charged your funding source anyway. They went ahead and charged my credit card $500 for the opening deposit even though they denied my account on 2/7. Beware. I am just getting my refund now.
hi M Brown. How did you fund with 500 credit card? why I can not see the credit funding option. Funding page says “visa, MC, Discover, or Amex”. But there is no CC funding option on the next page
I applied for the account yesterday, and after I indicated an opening deposit amount of $500, the following screen provided funding options including CC.
Denied due to “excessive inquiries” for 3 accounts opened in 2017
Can confirm chex sensitive
Declined due to “Excessive Bank Inquiries”. Definitely a bit chex sensitive.
How many accounts have you opened in last 12 months?
I got approved on the site, then a CS rep emailed me to say they were denying me to due to excessive Chex. I opened 6 checking & 1 savings in 2017. 1 checking so far in 2018
6 in the last 3 months. 25+ in the last 12 months. Approved at first, then denied with an email from a rep for “Excessive Inquiries” as well.
This bank is not leading the industry in technology. Didn’t have an option to CC fund even though it specifically mentions it in the app. Password requirements allow you to have a number or a special character but not both. Then they email the password to you in PLAIN TEXT.
Fee schedule does not say early termination fee.
Funding page says “visa, MC, Discover, or Amex”. But there is no CC funding optionon the next page
yes, it happend to me also. i thought it is system problem
Any luck on getting the CC funding to work?
Called the bank. Says they don’t take CC funding. Not sure if they just recently disabled it, or it worked before.
no funding page (can not choose how to fund the account)after finish application. Is anyone same to me?
CHEX SENSITIVE. I probably only have 5-6 inquiries in last 6 months on my report and was denied last month with Chex cited as the reason. Good luck all
I opened yesterday and it looked like all was well, had an account number but then I got an email today with a “Notice of Adverse action” with a file attached citing my Chex report and “Excess Bank Inquiries” I guess my checking bonus party is winding down.
Yes, same here.
