Might want to go during off-peak hours or just abstain altogether. For some reason, people always try to steal stacks of empty cups without filling them with coffee first, and the cashiers notice.
Install app, make account, watch the stupid goose flap it wings for 5 minutes each time you go to another screen, curse Wawa, uninstall app, go to Panera

The page says “Get a coupon for a FREE drink** when you make your first purchase with Wawa Rewards. **Free drink offer will be delivered as a coupon within 24 hours after making your first purchase to your Wawa Rewards account. See coupon for full details.”
So it’s not really a free cup of coffee “for everyone” in the sense of “walk in and get a coffee for free.” You get a coupon later or even the next day after making a purchase. I also don’t see anything about 4/4 on their main page. Do you have to be logged in to see more? I don’t have a Wawa account.

Most important thing that should be mentioned is that this and all other Wawa rewards require an existing Wawa Rewards account, so not “everybody” will be eligible. Even if you create an account today, you may not see the reward.
Agree with Ryan Goldstein that the title is misleading since lattes are mostly milk foam diluted with coffee.

Yep, that’s what I’m seeing as well. It’s for lattes and not coffee.
