Our Verdict
There has been several $250 checking bonuses from Wells Fargo recently. You’d be better off waiting for one of those to return (hopefully) I imagine most readers have already signed up for a Wells Fargo account recently anyway. Because of those reasons I won’t be adding it to our list of the best bank account bonuses. Some people have been able to successfully get a second bonus without waiting the 12 month period, but YMMV.
Big thanks to reader anon who let us know. Learn how to find bonuses and contribute to the site here.

I am checking this site daily in the hopes this happens 🙂 I am kicking myself for not doing this promotion when it was available. Easy $250.
Theres a $500 one too.
$25000 minimum deposit + 10 debit/Direct deposit
Really? Can you send me a picture? [email protected]
I would like to know about that too!
@Yet Another Redditor
I think its targeted(theres a code). SO has an account with Wells Fargo. I sent an image of the mailer to Will. hopefully he can confirm it. i might have missed something.
Much better than the stuffed unicorn they used to offer.
I got an umbrella couple years ago.
I think hardly anyone will be eligible for this promotion having signed up recently for the $250 bonus.
A few ambitious people reported being able to get WF $250 bonuses less than a year apart (closing the prior account before reapplying for the second offer), contrary to what the offer terms have all claimed the rule was.
