Our Verdict

WF Go Far is quietly becoming a useful deals center. Some people were targeted last week for terrific offers at CVS and some other stores, these 1-5% offers are much smaller percentage-wise, but they may be stores you’re going to anyway.

Be sure to max it out in one purchase: you’ll want to spend $250+ at an Office Depot store to max that out the $5 bonus and $1k+ at a Staples store to max out that $10 bonus. Gift card purchases have previously worked when doing this.

Thanks to @telewatcr for sharing these deals.

Why would the Office Depot or Staples offer be useful when the Chase Ink or Amex SimplyCash give 5% at office supply stores?

I guess not everyone has one of those Inks.

Not on biz cards, I assume. Available on any and all personal cards?

Are Go Far Rewards available for those who only have a bank account with Wells Fargo?

WF’s pattern is weak offers on the first of the month, then strong 30-40 point offer mid-month. There haven’t been ones good for place with 3rd party gift cards near me for a while, but still hopeful.

These look just like CNB Rewards Plus offers, probably all off the same tech backbone. I find that these tend to post pretty fast for in store usage.

Seems like the offers that come out near the start of the month are generally low earning and not worth much, but in most, if not all, of the last 6 months, there have been larger 30-40 point offered that come separately near the middle to end of the month.

Does CNB also have the larger 40 point offers?

Meant to ask – does the CNB Rewards Plus program have the larger 30-40 point offers? And is this for the crystal infinite card or another product? Thanks.

I haven’t seen any particularly lush offers. I’ve looked in a few zip codes around my region, but the in store ones requiring activation seem to be big national vendors. The local ones don’t seem to need activation, but they’re also much more random businesses.
