Hat tip to reader Alexander N
I got the 10% offer on Chevron.
Made a purchase of gas on 8/9, and a purchase in the store of a $100 GC the same day. I just received an email confirming that I will receive 10% cash back on both transactions.
Received and used the rewards on 8/12.
Also worked on purchase of Amazon gift cards in CVS store.
I have the following offer: “Earn 50% Bonus Cash Rewards on multiple transactions (up to a total of $350 Bonus Cash Rewards) In-Store at Budget Rent a Car”
Is it possible to purchase a Budget GC at a Budget location and receive this offer? Any experience with this offer anyone? Are Budget GCs easy to liquidate?
I don’t think budget locations sell gift cards.
Did anyone elses rewards change? Mine went from I think 40% on these offers down to 10% today….
FWIW, I activated the offer and filled up the next day at a Texaco that is listed as participating. No email from Earn More Mall (do I need to turn these on?). Account activity only lists my normal 1% cash back rather than the 40% reward.
Any idea what to do besides calling the listed toll free number on the site?
Thanks so much!
It takes 48 hours for the email from Earn More Mall to come, if it ever does.
You could open a case after waiting 30 days with the GoFar Rewards Center, 877-517-1358, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Pacific Time.
I see, thanks so much for letting me know about the 48 hours.
My SO is actually the cardholder, so I doubt we’ll be calling anyone… Then again, its only $10.
You can look at your account activity at WF Go Rewards to see if you see “Congratulations, your purchase through the Earn More Mall® just earned you bonus rewards.” I’ve only gotten the rewards from my CVS purchase. I haven’t gotten the rewards from my Texaco purchase yet. I will post if I receive either an email or notification of the bonus.
Thanks. Looking at my account activity at https://gofarrewards.wf.com/#/accountactivity , I don’t see any mention of Earn More Mall under my Texaco transaction. Thanks for updating if you get an email or notification of the Texaco bonus.
So, wanted to update. Just got an email confirming the rewards “Your Earn More Mall(R) purchase statement is ready to view” – yay!
Update: Yes, today I received the email notification that I received the bonus by shopping at Texaco. It’s nice that WF is so prompt in awarding the reward plus sends an email letting you know.
007 you should have received the email by now. I doubt you will be able to complain because the terms say that the merchant must be a participating merchant otherwise the bonus is not valid.
Thanks. I did get the email last night. Subject is “Your Earn More Mall(R) purchase statement is ready to view.” Interestingly, I still don’t see anything relating to the 40% bonus under account activity. Do you?
Same here, nothing seen in my account under account activity relating to the 40%. They leave you wondering.
Thanks for confirming that I am not the only one for whom the bonus does not show up under account activity.
Yes. you need to activate each offer before using.
My CVS in store (10% up to $25.00 – multiple visits) on 07/27 first showed the normal reward. Late July 30, I have an email confirmation about the 10%. Not yet on my Go Far page, so I expect it will be soon.
Thanks so much for sharing your timeline. FWIW, my 40% reward has now shown up under account activity.
Hi Jeff H,
What do you mean by “(10% up to $25.00)– multiple visits)”?
Usually a confirmation email from Wells Fargo arrives within a few days after completing the 1-time offer.
Will this work on 2 seperate cards if they both have the offers?
You should be ok. You could check to make sure the offers are still loaded on each card before making the spend.
I bought $62.50 in Amazon Gift Cards at CVS. Thanks DOC!
nice, works on GC’s?
Yes, it has in the past.
Thanks, does it work on VGC’s as well!?
I haven’t used it on VGC’s, but I imagine it would work. I don’t see why it wouldn’t.
Got my $25 reward after buying $500 VGC.
Wow, today I checked my email and I see that on 7/26/18 I received an email from WF confirming my $25 cash rewards for my $62.50 spend at CVS: “07/24/2018 CVS PHARMACY – 40% Cash Rewards $25.00” That was fast!!! Thank you DOC
William Charles
My WF card usually just sits in the drawer and I wouldn’t even know about these offers without your site. Thank you so much!!! The subject line is: Your Earn More Mall(R) purchase statement is ready to view
Glad to help
My only card is the biz plat – is the WF business platinum eligible for these offers? If I add an offer now and then open up an eligible card later, would that card be eligible?
My only current WF card is the Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa. I’m not seeing any of these offers. Does everyone who is getting these offers have a Propel World? I’m clicking on the “Earn more, faster: Shop Now” button, sorting by high to low, my three highest rewards offers are 35% cash back on e-file.com, Iolo.com, and OO-Software.com.
I am getting the offers on my WF Cash Wise Visa. I do not have a Propel World card. Looks like you were not targeted.
Thank you! What sort of spend do you run through your WF Cash Wise? I only use it for my monthly cell phone bill – it was a downgrade from propel. I’m wondering if changing my spending behavior could get me targeted.
@John K I don’t use my card at all. It usually sits in the drawer. The last time I used it was to buy gift cards during the last Buffalo Wild Wings/Panera Bread cash back promotion.
Just need to hover the mouse cursor over “[checkmark] Activated” and click “View Offer Details” to the CB cap number:

Anyone Know how this will work in terms of receiving the credit if you purchase it or not?
See reply from bax , 2018 11:02 am
There is a separate Chevron offer that I am asking about, not about the cvs offer.
Blake Usually you will get an email confirmation from WF it will say “Congratulations on earning cash rewards”
Have you Tried the Chevron Promotion in AZ and did it work? Reason I ask is because they are privately owned so merchant technically isn’t Chevron. Haven’t tried yet wanted to see if anyone else has.
I have not tried the Chevron Promo in AZ. If they are privately owned this could possibly mean that they are not a participating merchant. What would you buy there? Gift Cards? That’s the only reason I haven’t used it. Not sure what I would buy.
Thanks but In Arizona Chevron’s are all Privately Owned so buying at the pump or at the Chevron Location doesn’t charge as Chevron it charges as the private company that owns it.
Just buy a couple of dollars worth to test it out for the next time it’s offered?
I can confirm it worked at Chevron that is privately owned in AZ.
