Fyi I cleared this bonus 6 months ago and they through a bit of a fit. Apparently even though I cleared the terms they didn’t like that I wasn’t suing the savings account enough… and closed the savings account without notice. They then withheld the bonus for the checking because I “wasn’t actively using my accounts” by their standards. After a couple weeks of back and forth they finally agreed to pay bonus, but only after I “promised” them I would continue to use my account. I found it to be quite childish and closed right after the bonus hit. So by all means do this one but move money in and out of both accounts with regularity to avoid their ire.

Still shows ‘certify resident of WI’ – no OOS.

10-15 – Opened online in-service-area with Chex frozen
11-15 – $200 real DD
11-18 – 5x$5 Paypal balance reloads through the debit card
11-22 – $300 bonus posts

This bank also has CC funding, but I’m not sure how much. The form allowed entering up to $25k per account, so $50k combined with checking + savings. I entered $12.5k each, but they ended up only funding $1 to each without reaching out or anything. They did code as separate $1 purchases on my Capital One Venture X from FUNDNOW. If you’re going to take advantage of that definitely reach out to get the actual max amount.

I called to ask about CC funding, and they said $1k was possible. They didn’t mention a maximum and I didn’t probe too much. Then I did a chat and they said that there is a min of 100, and no maximum.

Dirk There is a button you have to click that states, “I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and a resident of Wisconsin.” I personally am not going to click that button if I am not a resident of Wisconsin. Did you try going through the application process of the offer?

Newbie churner/Dirk (it shows your comment history for both names since you linked it to your email), I’m not sure what you’re implying. If you want to attest on a document that you’re a resident of a state in which you’re not. If you have to ask questions like “can you go to jail for lying” then this probably isn’t the game for you.

Depends on the context. In this context, before you apply you should have a plan for DDs from jail or you might miss a lot of future bank bonuses.

Looks like they’re updating the deal, it’s now been extended to December 31, 2024 and increased to $300 in most of the language on the page though the code itself is still ONLINE250, the url still has 250, and their promotions page still says $250. Terms haven’t changed.

Just a heads up that you need monthly recurring direct deposit. I had real d.d. for one month and was told this by CS when I asked why I didn’t receive the bonus.

I did this last year, people in branch were nice.

They also did a free pancake and sausage day the other week at one of their branches and that was pretty solid.
