This one is even easier because you only need to make 2 DD totaling $2500+ and doesn’t need to stay in the account thru out the 30 days

I’ll be applying for this one shortly as there is a branch a couple minutes from me. Thanks Doc!

Update: Applied in branch today. Process took a bit longer than expected (roughly 1 hour) but I also casually chatted with the rep for a bit. She made a comment about seeing that I had recently opened a few accounts I assume based on Chex. That was the only mention of it so not Chex sensitive. Account has no fees associated with it.

Opened this today. I remember they checked my Chex when I opened the personal account, but apparently no Chex for the business. Smooth process, and customers who have done the personal bonus are also eligible. Banker even said you can churn the personal bonus every two years, but I didn’t do it lest I jeopardize the business bonus. Any DPs of anyone who has churned WesBanco?

As an FYI, the debit card gets mailed to you and to sign up for online / mobile banking you need to register online and then print out and sign and return a form for online banking (can be emailed, faxed or returned to a branch). Then allow 1-3 business days for online access.

When registering online it asks who referred you. Not sure if putting a current member’s name dpwn will trigger the $50 referral bonus for them.

One downside to the account is the $5/month fee for bill pay (if activated) but it’s a small fee amd also a tax deductible expense. There is no fee for direct debit hitting the account.
