I see on Xfinity Rewards now there is offer that doesn’t seem to have an end date?

Restrictions apply. Offer for Peacock Premium at no extra cost (currently $5.99/mo. value) limited to Xfinity Internet customers who remain enrolled as a Platinum or Diamond Xfinity Rewards member with account in good standing.

XFinity gig internet customer, Platinum rewards level and I’ve received bupkis regarding anything extending my free Peacock subscription, only that it’s ending and I’ll have to pay for it. To make sure I noticed, they sent me two emails about it!

If it happens, it happens. I won’t revert to paid. I got my money’s worth ($0).

Xfinity is also taking away the credit card auto pay discount as of July 20th. Guess they’re copying T-Mobile and Verizon.

I wonder if they’ll announce the Xfinity credit card so we’ll be able to earn rewards and keep the discount! /s

I set mine up as auto pay from my checking account to get the monthly discount, but I prepay with my credit card before the due date.

I’m platinum and didn’t receive any email. Is Flex or Gig Speed required?

I don’t think so, it didn’t mention that. It’s not live yet anyway. You do need Flex for the current free Peacock but that seems to be going away.

Maybe. I got the email and have gig-speed (Silver reward level).

All Xfinity offered me (not Diamond or Platinum) was subscribing for $2.99 for 12 months. But I have to say “Peacock” into my Voice Remote, which is something I don’t even have. Oh well.

Does Peacock even have anything worthwhile to watch? When it was included with Xfinity, I probably opened it a handful of times over the ~2 years but never found anything to watch.

Poker Face was very fun to watch.

I really enjoy old Law and Order episodes (the original series, not SVU or Organized Crime). If it wasn’t for that I would never use Peacock.

Yeah, all the Universal movies from theaters come directly there, like Dungeons and Dragons was just added. Bubkis, SNL, NBC News are a few.

For anybody that received this email, when did it come? I received one last night just saying that I was no longer going to get Peacock Premium but could subscribe at a reduced rate ($2.99/month)

I was getting it for free with the Flex stream box. It seems that benefit is going away too. I never even opened my Flex. I received the package and stowed it away in my basement ceiling. I just got it to activate the free Peacock Premium. For those who did the same, are you going to cancel the Flex service and return the box? I was thinking to return it to avoid the chance they sneak in some fees for it. Or are you keeping it in hopes they maybe add some other benefit?

I did the same exact thing as you with the Flex box. However, we usually switch between P1 and P2 subscriptions every 2 years. So, when I cancel my service, I will return the Flex box.

PHROST “I received the package and stowed it away in my basement ceiling”. Why the ceiling?

I can still access Peacock Premium despite cancelling and returning the flex device 3 years ago.

I’m keeping my Flex, but that’s because it seems to load apps faster and work better than my TV’s built-in Roku.

It seems that the various streaming services are moving to or already have moved to plan tiers that include an ad-based tier. Disney+, Amazon Prime, . . .

I don’t think there is a non ad version of Peacock.
