The Offer
Direct link to offer (note there is no offer page for this promotion)
- Enroll your Capital One® Visa® card now through 4/30/2015, we’ll give you a $10 account credit!
The Fine Print
- Valid until April 30th, 2015
- Credit should show within 14 days of enrolling your card
- This was sent out in an e-mail, all accounts might not be eligible for this offer
- No purchase necessary, just add your card
Our Verdict
Even if you didn’t receive the offer, if you have a Capital One card I’d add it to Visa check out anyway as often you’ll receive the bonus anyway. If you already have a Visa check out account, it might be worth creating a new one just for this promotion.
Hat tip to Maximizing Money
Had signed up in March, just had my credit post a few days back!
You probably should add the word “Visa” to the title. I have a Capital One card but it’s MasterCard so it’s not eligible, correct?
Incorrect, Visa check out works with other payment networks.
I know that Visa Checkout works with other cards besides Visa. I am talking about this specific offer. The ad in your post literally says “enroll your Capital One Visa”.
Hi Eric,
At the moment we don’t know. Technically the offer is only available if you received the direct communication, but even if I had a mastercard Capital One card I’d still try it.
Something that would be really helpful (at least to me, probably others) is in these types of posts, you were able to include the email subject line. Sure, they could be testing different ones, etc. but at least that gives me a starting point to comb through my email. Thanks!
Will – thanks for the heads up. I remember there was a similar promo for BofA. As well as Citi but that required making a purchase at Staples IIRC.
Can you think of any other companies or banks that were offering such Visa Checkout promos? Just wanna keep track of all these offers, even if they may have expired. If you’ve posted about them previously, a handy collection of all those posts/links here in a reply would be much appreciated!
Thanks, bud.
Adam, I’ve enrolled my BofA card a while back and there was no necessary purchase. They sent me a $10 or $15 Visa GC a few weeks after enrolling the card. The cool thing is they don’t care it it’s a Visa card. You can enroll anything to Visa checkout 😉

I think that’s all of ’em.
thanks a ton, bud. looks like the only applicable one for me was the BofA offer which I completed.
I need to get familiar with and open some US Bank (+CC) accounts, I see they run a lotta promos thruout the year. can you do a best strategy post for someone new starting out with US Bank? and feel free to go as advanced as possible.
lastly, hadnt even heard of BB&T or PNC until now. wonder what good product offers/deals they have currently worth signing up for as a customer.
The Visa Checkout site doesn’t do anything when I click add a card.
