Our Verdict
I suspect most people have already used the Amazon app, due to previous promotions. Nice discount if you haven’t used it before, although we have seen bigger in the past.
I just used the second $15 coupon today (9/2) so it’s still “live” at the moment.

Yes this is still working. Received second coupon today, order went through for 15 off.
I didn’t realize when this expired, so I didn’t make my first purchase until literally 2 minutes before the deadline last night. To my surprise, this morning the button for the second coupon showed up, and although I haven’t officially placed a second order yet, the discount shows up at checkout. It was only about 9 hours after the first purchase that I got the second coupon, and it’s currently after the deadline.
I don’t want to push my luck and wait too long (although I need to figure out what to order now), but it seems it’s still possible to get the second coupon right now. I had a few friends who were able to get it today as well.
I made a purchase this afternoon and did get the second discount.
Similar story to the one below me. 44 hours after my first purchase and 4 hours before it expires, I finally click on that promo link again and got it to appear on my Amazon checkout.
Got my 2nd coupon to work tonight (44 hours after 1st order and maybe about 24 hrs after 1st order actually shipped).
2nd one working just ~19 hours after 1st order submitted. Just re-applied promo thru the email link and then shows as 2nd day $15 off promo in the cart.
does the 2nd promo expires tonight too?

Roman said, try following the email/text link again and you should get the option to apply the coupon again. I just did for a S&S order and the discount showed as “app second purchase.”
It worked a second time, which is good because I didn’t get the second discount for the second purchase.
It says “First app purchase is complete.”
“Get $15 for second purchase in app.”
But second purchase does not have any discount applied.
Did you wait 24 hours? The terms say the second “code” will come the next day.

Same here. Guess they fixed it to make only true first time app users eligible.
It worked fine for me. I got the first discount yesterday and used it this morning. Got the second discount tonight and used it shortly after getting it.
Interestingly, I’ve used the app several times before. The first time I clicked it, it had both messages on the screen, saying I was eligible and also that I was ineligible. But the button to redeem the coupon was there and it worked.
If you’ve redeemed the 2nd coupon – you have to go back in and get the 2nd coupon – you need to make sure the items you’re trying to purchase are sold by Amazon, or the discount won’t show.
Coupon wasn’t working a second time for me either BUT it did work after I: cleared my cart, visited the link for the offer page, clicked the get coupon button (again) and attempted to checkout in the app again.
I also didn’t get second code. Hit the button on link and it said you’ve received second code. Discount showed at checkout.
It is telling me you have already claimed the coupon when I follow the steps like you did.

Did you notice if it was still showing App offer 1 when you successfully clipped the coupon the second time?
I did not notice what my second click said, but after using the coupon for the first time yesterday, I tried again later in the day. That time it showed the button, but said “already used” (or maybe “applied”) and nothing showed for a second order. Today, I did the same thing, but clicking said “coupon applied” and at check out the discount showed as “app second purchase.”
Now it works. 24 hours after the 24 hours.
