Our Verdict
We just posted about a YMMV $750 offer, yet this $500 offer is worth highlighting due to the lower spend requirement of $5,000. We’ve never seen a $500 offer on this card with such a low spend requirement. Some people might prefer taking $250 less and not having to spend the $15,000 from the other offer. Also useful for someone who can’t get the offer offer to pull up.

Same here. Instant approval with every bureau frozen. Mine definitely had the life-time language, which was fine by me because this is my first biz Amex.

This offer still came up no issues for me when calling in. Did mention the lifetime language on the call. They emailed me the application no issues. Also mentioned there was a huge Business Platinum offer available to me, which I’m not going for at the moment, but presumably it’s the 250k offer mentioned on the site. Unfortunately, got a pop up, so no luck for me on this one.
Regarding the Biz Plat, did you ask if there were any other offers available or they just mentioned it without any prompt?

Open it up using incognito. Then, you can use the comparison tool to see offers from various cards. The offer changes occasionally. Just open up another window and try again until you find some satisfied offer.

2% cash back is also great for a business credit card that doesn’t have any annual fees!
Had a mail offer of $250 + $250 cash back for $5k +$10k spend. 0% apr for first 12 months. Didn’t see lifetime language.

Just to add some more helpful details to DC’s great write-up below… When your filling out the application you need to state at least $1,000 of estimated revenue for your biz. So that’s what I went with after initially listing an even smaller number for my very small biz, and getting a system error.
Also, I didn’t get instantly approved unlike others. After declining to add additional employees onto the account and hitting ‘next’, the system then processed my application for like a full minute (had me seriously holding my breath after a bogus rejection for the BOA Premier Rewards card last week at 0/6, 4/12, 6/24 WITH a BOA checking account…) but then finally i was taken to page that my application was pending and that I had to call the number on the screen to confirm some details.
I called the # and was expecting a recon-like grilling about my business from an underwriter, but instead it was just an automated hotline that asked me to confirm my zip code and the last four of my SSN. And then I got a Congratulations message and it said my card should arrive within 14 days. 🙌
Called the number today and pressed option 2. Got a hold of a guy and asked him if there was any offers/promos for Blue Business Cash card, and he checked and confirmed the $500 offer. Told me he could either send it via email or we could submit an application via the phone. I opted for the email, he collected some info and then sent it while on the call. Subject of the email is “Don’t forget your American Express® Business Card application”. It has a “Continue to application” button. Click on it, and it takes you to the page to finish your saved application. Fill out some more details, submit and it’ll show you the application is under review and also asks you if you want to add an employee to the card, i skipped this offer and then got an approved page.
