My wife just received an email regarding her Free Night Award (but at or under 50,000 points).

Redeem your Free Night Award for one night (with a redemption level at or under 50,000 points) at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®. Plus, you can redeem or purchase up to 15,000 points to combine with your Free Night Award to help you access even more hotels that you can enjoy. Certain hotels have resort fees.*

I have not received an email yet, but my Marriott activity today shows:

MARBV AX Customer Spend FNA upto 85Kpts
.

My wife’s free night (from her Marriott Activity) says that it is up to 85K Points. The email must be wrong.

Sounds like both you and wife received the 85K cert at the same time?
When did you met the 4K spending requirement? I am planning a trip next Feb
that can use some 85K certs, so waiting till end of next month to complete the 4K spending.

How long it took to deposit the night after the spend requirement was met?

Can anyone confirm if they know if spend on authorized user card for an enrolled card in this offer works?

I forgot to save the terms this time around and I don’t see a way to view them.

Nothing as usual. I am pissed. I am canceling Brilliant and adding another Aspire card without reservation. LOL

Marriott hates me. Join the club. 🙂 I wonder what is the criteria, new cardholders only?

No, I have it, and I’ve had the card since it was created. I spend less on this card than any of my other 5 AmEx cards though.

Accepted on 4 different brilliants, also all 4 cards are only used for the $25 credit, seems random why some people are denied. It seems about 50/50.

Registered via card # and it worked, thanks for sharing this! FYI: I didn’t receive a confirmation email, so I took a screenshot of the on-screen confirmation.

Registered on one of my 2 Brilliant cards. Was hoping for both but I’ll take one. That makes 4 free nights at the Ritz for me this year.

Which Ritz? And interesting I’ve never considered upgrading my $95 to a brilliant. So you’re basically paying $350 for a 85k FNC. Guess I could have 3 nights each year at Bacara that way.

and platinum status, and 25 nights credit a year.

I’ve enjoyed the one in Vail but seen a couple where you can just add 15k points to the certificate and get it. I have two brilliants and the Ritz card. Trying to get player two in so we can spend a week at nice hotels for free.

+25$/month dining credit=300 bucks
So paying 150 for an 85k cert

Annual fee on the Brillian is $650 now. So you’re paying $350 for the 85k cert and platinum status.

They are usually good for 1 year after the date deposited in your bonvoy account
