Our Verdict
It’s been possible to get 75,000 points after $10,000 in spend for some time by calling in. This offer is obviously better as the spend requirement is $5,000 and no need to call in to get the offer either. This doesn’t have the $1,500 G Suite bonus that the public link has, so if you use G Suite I’d recommend going for that 50,000 points + $1,500 bonus instead (you can prepay your G Suite balance).
Definitely worth taking a second or two to see if you’re eligible for this offer. If you are I’d recommend applying (again the G Suite offer is better if you use G Suite). As always read these things everybody should know about American Express cards if you have any questions as they are most likely answered there.
The first link showed the offer for me. Just applied and was approved. Thanks for the link Doc
In like Flynn. MUCH better than the prior 75k for $15k spend they’d offered me. $5k in 3 months for 75k? Yes… all day. Thanks
Do you have to have Amex already to apply for this? I do not have any Amex cards and when I follow either link for the 75k points there is no apply option, just a amex login screen. Should I call the phone number and apply over the phone?
+1, do you need to already have an Amex card to be eligible for this offer?
Tried whole families account, no dice. Thanks anyway
“VERY” YMMV
It still appears in incognito, but it asks you to log in. I did not try to log in.
Hey Doc,
I logged into my amex account and I have an offer for the PRG card with no lifetime language. Spend 2 k and get 50k points. Is it safe to go ahead and apply? I have had the card before a few years back.
* I did a chat online with the CSR but no confirmation that I would qualify for the points again.
Thanks!
Yes, should be fine.
I was in a similar situation last year.
I applied and was not given the points automatically. I escalated the issue and I was asked to upload the offer screenshot and promptly received points after few days.
Moral of the story: ALWAYS take screenshots especially when you know that there might be an issue.
I applied and approved. Saved a copy of the T&C with the promo code as well to be on the safe side.
Worked for me, used new link 4/18 under incognito (didn’t know if I had to but i tried it that way). Said I’m approved and received AMEX confirmation of application in email.
I signed up for this card as a “personal business” (basically just used my name as the business) a few years back. Now I own a corporation with an EIN. Does the lifetime language matter? Or are they going to see my SSN and not give a second signup bonus?
Thanks!

I got a targeted email for 75k with 5k spend 2 days after I applied for the 50k version. I tried to match but they wouldn’t. The email link expired, but I have a copy of the final link and check it every couple of weeks and the expiration date moves further back each time. Trying to put 6 months time since I applied for the last onem
