Another offer from Barclay’s:
Main body: “Enjoy a $25 statement credit when you set up 3 qualifying recurring payments of $20 or more with your service providers between 4/10/2024 and 6/30/2024.” … okay, not bad, I’m interested ….
Fine print at the bottom: “set up and complete three recurring bill payments (each to a different merchant)” … what?! so nine really. oh man, um, no.
I didn’t get your math until I read Burton’s comment because you left out the detail that each merchant has to post three payments to qualify as recurring.
Got $10 for 3 transactions/$20 on the Holland America card that haven’t been used in at least 1 year. The email said “we’ve noticed you haven’t used your card in a while”. Nothing on the Carnival card that was last used 2 months ago and nothing on the Emirates card that had activity 3 or 4 months ago.
I got “Earn a $20 statement credit when you make 5 purchases of $20 or more between 4/15/2024 and 5/15/2024″
This is the offer we got too…however I am a little concerned that when I click “enroll now” it just takes me to the webpage with no indication that I have enrolled in anything.

well now the page I got says “$20 as 2,000 points” which, not nearly as good
I see “enjoy a $25 statement credit when you set up 3 qualifying recurring payments of $20 or more…” but with the qualifiers “each to a different merchant” and “the merchant must post at least three instances of the automated transaction to identify as recurring” I’m not sure it is worth the effort.
This is the one I’m targeted for also. Wondering if a regular charge will trigger it or not
