I got the email in the beginning of the year saying that if I spend $1k in grocery or gas, I would get $100 credit. I did spend that much in April and I am not seeing the credit, does anyone know how long it takes to post?

TYP version of this card is no longer obtainable (ie even if I get a SWYP and convert later)?

Well this is a sad quarter, for the first time in at least a couple years, no ggr offer for me…

Does the spend need to take place during the billing cycle or calendar month?

Calendar month, from the first to the last day of the month. Unless it’s specifically says otherwise. Like the “general spend” offers are from the 15th of this month to the 14th of next month.

Just got my new ggr offer. 15% statement credits with $1200 spend. (Better than previous quarter which was 10% for $1,800 spend.).

I also have four other offers. $60 on
four $75 purchases, $50 for $750 online purchase, 90,000 points for $300 in travel / entertainment purchases, 150,000 points for $1,000 spend at home improvement stores.

It’s a challenge and kind of fun to try to get these to stack and double up as much as possible.

Didn’t used to have so many offers at the same time, usually I would have maybe two offers going. I just keep using the card and they keep sending me more offers.

That’s a great set of offers. All they’re sending me is 10% GGR offers and online spend these days. I have a 5% home improvement offer which isn’t really compelling. Any tips on how to meet home improvement spend if I do get a decent offer?

The answer is gift cards. If you’re not ready to make a purchase of an item, then just get a gift card to the home center and save it for later. They should also have other gift cards available to various restaurants and other retail stores that you can buy.

Or you can also buy a Visa gift card. These have a purchase fee, but you can use them pretty much anywhere. I used them to pay my property taxes.

Also, Menards and Fleet Farm let you buy gift cards directly from their website. So you could stack those two offers, it will count as both home center and online. This doesn’t work with Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Just a note, I have purchased a Menard’s gift card online and it counted as both home improvement and online. However, I have not done it with Fleet Farm. So I’m not totally sure if it codes as Home Improvement or something else (department store?). It seems like a HI store to me though.

I looked again and you can in fact buy gift cards directly from the Home Depot website, which should count for the home improvement offer (and online offer). Lowe’s is still a no-go, it redirects you to buyatab dot com. For visa gift cards, I’ve been going to Lowe’s. Any amount up to $500. Well, it’s actually a mastercard gift card, but works the same.

I haven’t gotten any offers on my Sears TYP card in well over a year. I used to get them regularly.
