Google has accidentally deposited money into some users Google Pay accounts. The deposits have come through as Google Pay rewards and range from $10 – $1,000 and the message reads ‘dogfooding the Google Pay Remittance experience,’
This was supposed to be user testing using Google’s employee accounts but obviously somebody has made a mistake or two along the way. I believe Google is only allowing users to keep the smaller mistakes where the large mistakes have been clawed back.
I got one today for $5, don’t think there’s a description
This is why we use non-prod environments

dogfooding
Yeah it’s a thing, a silly term for a thing but a thing nonetheless

Anybody have an elk stamp?
Was that the one where you needed to refer someone? I referred myself
Nothing in my Gpay account. May be because I used only once or twice.
I received $12.76 and was able to transfer it out.
